Abstract
A METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RECOVERING, RECLAIMING AND FILLING AIR CONDITIONER FREON, INCORPORATING A FREON RECOVERY SYSTEM (9,10), A FREON RECLAIMING SYSTEM (32), A FREON FILLING SYSTEM (33) AND A FREON MAKE-UP SYSTEM (35), FOR RESPECTIVELY RECOVERING, RECLAIMING AND FILLING FORMER FREON (3) AND SUBSTITUTE FREON (4) IN CONSECUTIVE STEPS WITH A SINGLE UNIT (5,6,7,8). THE FORMER FREON WITH AN OZONE DAMAGING COEFFICIENT CAN BE RECOVERED AND REUSED WITHOUT DISCHARGE INTO THE ATMOSPHERE, AND THE SUBSTITUTE FREON WHICH ALTHOUGH HAVING NO OZONE DAMAGING COEFFICIENT HAS A HIGH WARMING COEFFICIENT CAN ALSO BE RECOVERED AND REUSED WITHOUT DISCHARGE INTO THE ATMOSPHERE. MOREOVER, DUE TO THE COMPACTNESS OF THE APPARATUS, WORK SITE INSTALLATION SPACE CAN BE REDUCED.FIGURE 1
