Abstract
THE PRESENT INVENTION CONCERNS A HONEYCOMB BODY (12) COMPRISING PASSAGES WHICH EXTEND APPROXIMATELY PARALLEL AND THROUGH WHICH FLUID CAN FLOW, AND ELECTRICALLY HEATABLE PORTIONS WHICH ARE PARTIALLY ELECTRICALLY INSULATED FROM EACH OTHER BY AT LEAST ONE GAP SO THAT THERE IS A TORTUOUS AND PREFERABLY APPROXIMATELY MEANDER-LIKE CURRENT PATH THROUGH THE HONEYCOMB BODY (12), WHEREIN THE GAP BETWEEN THE PORTIONS IS STABILISED BY AT LEAST ONE ELECTRICALLY INSULATING CONNECTING LIMB (13) WHICH HAS AT LEAST ONE FIXING POINT (14) WITHIN A PORTION.(FIG. 1)
