GENERATING A COMBUSTION GAS FROM BIOLOGICAL RAW MATERIALS (1) IN AN OXIDATION REACTOR (2) BY PARTIAL OXIDATION, THEREBY ADJUSTING AND MAINTAINING AN OXYGEN/BIOLOGICAL RAW MATERIAL PROPORTION OF ,INGREDIENTS AND A GAS PHASE TEMPERATURE WHICH ENSURE A COMBUSTIBLE GAS VIRTUALLY FREE OF NITROGEN OXIDES. AFTER REMOVING SUSPENDED MATTER FROM THE COMBUSTIBLE GAS IN A SEPARATOR (8), THE COMBUSTIBLE GAS IS CONVERTED INTO ELECTRIC ENERGY IN FUEL CELLS (10) HAVING A POROUS ANODE (11), A POROUS CATHODE (12) AND A SUITABLE ELECTROLYTE (14).
