A MOTOR DRIVEN VARIABLE RESISTOR ASSEMBLY (1) COMPRISES A MOTOR (4), A REDUCTION GEAR MECHANISM (2) CONNECTED TO THE ROTARY SHAFT (34) OF THE MOTOR (4) AND A CRUTCH MECHANISM (3) ARRANGED BETWEEN THE REDUCTION GEAR MECHANISM (2) AND THE VARIABLE RESISTOR TO TRANSMIT THE ROTARY POWER OF THE MOTOR (4) TO THE OPERATING ROTARY SHAFT (7) OF A VARIABLE RESISTOR CONTAINED IN THE ASSEMBLY. THE CRUTCH MECHANISM (3) FURTHER COMPRISES AN ANNULAR CRUTCH DICS (43) ROTATABLY FITTED INTO AN ANNULAR GROOVE (42) ARRANGE NEAR THE OUTER PERIPHERY OF A WHEEL GEAR (39) CONSTITUTING THE LAST STAGE OF THE REDUCTION GEAR MECHANISM (2), A LEAF SPRING (45) HAVING RADIAL ARMS (47) ENGAGED WITH THE ANNULAR CRUTCH DISC (43) AND AN AXLE (41) FOR ROTATABLY HOLDING THE LEAF SPRING (45) TO THE CENTER OF THE WHEEL GEAR (39). THE AXLE (41) IS CONNECTED TO THE OPERATING ROTARY SHAFT (7). THE REDUCTION GEAR MECHANISM (2) COMPRISES A CYLINDRICAL FIRST WORM GEAR (35) SECURELY FITTED TO THE ROTARY SHAFT (34) OF THE MOTOR (4), A CYLINDRICAL FIRST WHEEL GEAR (36) ENGAGED WITH THE FIRST WORM GEAR (35), A CYLINDRICAL SECOND WORM GEAR (38) TO BE INTEGRALLY ROTATED WITH THE FIRST WHEEL GEAR (36) AND A CROWN GEAR TYPE SECOND WHEEL GEAR (39) ENGAGED WITH THE SECOND WORM GEAR (38) AND THE ROTARY SHAFT (34) OF THE MOTOR CONNECTED TO THE FIRST WORM GEAR (35) AND THE OPERATING RATORY SHAFT (7) OF THE VARIABLE RESISTOR CONNECTED TO THE SECOND WHEEL GEAR (39) ARE SUBSTANTIALLY ALIGNED WITH EACH OTHER.
