Abstract

A RECEIVING BAG (10) HAVING A BAND-SHAPED CONFIGURATION FOR RECEIVING A NUMBER OF TAB TERMINALS (22) FOR SMALL-SIZED ALUMINUM ELECTROLYTE CAPACITORS IS DISCLOSED. A NUMBER OF HOLLOW SPACES (12) EACH HAVING A PLURALITY OF TAB TERMINALS (22) RECEIVED THEREIN ARE SUCCESSIVELY ARRANGED IN THE DIRECTION OF EXTENSION OF THE RECEIVING BAG IN THE EQUALLY SPACED RELATIONSHIP. EACH OF THE HOLLOW SPACES (12) IS FORMED WITH A CUTTING PORTION (16) ALONG ONE EDGE OF THE RECEIVING BAG (10) SO AS TO ALLOW THE HOLLOW SPACE (12) TO BE OPENED BY TEARING THE CUTTING PORTION FROM A MAIN BODY OF THE RECEIVING BAG. THE TAB TERMINALS (22) ARE RECEIVED IN EACH HOLLOW SPACE (12) WITH AN ATTITUDE AT A SUBSTANTIALLY RIGHT ANGLE RELATIVE TO THE CUTTING PORTION (16). IN ADDITION, AN APPARATUS FOR OPENING EACH HOLLOW SPACE (12) ON A RECEIVING BAG OF THE FOREGOING TYPE AND THEN CONVEYING A PLURALITY OF TAB TERMINALS (22) IN THE HOLLOW SPACE (12) TO A NEXT STEP IS DISCLOSED.
