ACETIC ACID DERIVATIVES OF THE FORMULA H2N(NH) ) C-X-Y-CO-Z-CH(Q1)COOQ2 IN WHICH X, Y, Z, Q1 AND Q2 HAVE THE MEANING INDICATED IN THE DESCRIPTION, AND HYDRATES, SOLVATES AND PHYSIOLOGICALLY UTILISABLE SALTS THEREOF INHIBIT THE BINDING OF ADHESIVE PROTEINS TO BLOOD PLATELETS AND ALSO INHIBIT BLOOD PLATELET AGGREGATION AND CELL-CELL ADHESION. THEY ARE PREPARED BY REMOVAL OF PROTECTING GROUPS IN APPROPRIATE COMPOUNDS CONTAINING ESTER GROUPS AND PROTECTED AMIDINO GROUPS.
