Abstract
PROCESS FOR THE CONVERSION OF A HEAVY OIL FRACTION INTO LIGHTER FRACTIONS, COMPRISING PASSING A HEAVY OIL FRACTION, HAVING A LOW CONTENT OF ASPHALTENIC CONSTITUENTS TOGETHER WITH A HYDROGEN CONTAINING GAS STREAM THROUGH A REACTION ZONE CONTAINING A NON-ACIDIC, HYDROGEN ACTIVATING CATALYST AT A TEMPERATURE OF 400-550?C AND A HYDROGEN PARTIAL PRESSURE OF 1-6 MPA.
