Abstract

A MOUNTING MECHANISM IS DISCLOSED, WHICH CONNECTS A COMPRESSOR (21) OF AN AUTOMOTIVE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM ON AN AUTOMOBILE ENGINE (1) THROUGH A MOUNT BRACKET (11) WHILE A DRIVE SHAFT OF SAID COMPRESSOR (21) IS IN PARALLEL TO A DRIVE SHAFT OF THE ENGINE(1). THE COMPRESSOR (21) MOUNT ON THE BRACKET (11) THROUGH FLANGE PORTION (211) PROJECTING FROM OUTER PERIPHERAL SURFACE THEREOF BY BOLT-NUT ELEMENT (30,31), THE BOLT-PENETRATES HOLES (113,212) FORMED THROUGH BRACKET (11) AND FLANGE PORTION (211) AND ABSORBING UNIT (12) IS DISPOSED ON EITHER ONE OF HOLE (113,212) ON BRACKET (11) OR FLANGE PORTION (211). THE ABSORBING UNIT (12) INCLUDES RUBBER MEMBER (123) TO ABSORB THE AXIAL MOVABLE VIBRATION OF THE COMPRESSOR (21). COUPLING MEMBERS (40) CONNECT BETWEEN THE MOUNT BRACKET (11) AND THE COMPRESSOR (21) SO AS TO BE AXIALLY MOVABLE AND NOT TO BE RADIALLY MOVABLE. THEREFORE, THE MECHANICAL AXIAL VIBRATION OF THE COMPRESSOR (21) IS ABSORBED BY THE RUBBER MEMBERS (123) WITHOUT TRANSFORMATION THEREOF, THEREBY NOISE IS REDUCED.(FIG 3)
