A METAL ENCLOSED SWITCHGEAR, INCLUDES A CABINET (2) WITH A FLOOR (2A), A CIRCUIT BREAKER (8) FREELY MOVABLE INTO OR OUT OF THE CABINET (2) BY MEANS OF ROLLERS (9) ROLLING ALONG THE FLOOR (2A), AN EARTHING SWITCH (18), A MECHANISM FOR ACTUATING THE SWITCH (18) AND A MECHANICAL INTERLOCK (B) BETWEEN THE CIRCUIT BREAKER (8) AND THE SWITCH (18). THE INTERLOCK (B) INCLUDES A PAIR OF STATIONARY ROLLERSTOPPERS (42,43) EACH OF WHICH IS FIXED, WITH A CERTAIN DISTANCE THEREBETWEEN, TO THE FLOOR OUTSIDE THE PATH OF THE ROLLERS (9), A MOVABLE ROLLER STOPPER (44).(FIG.1)
