Description
ELASTIC SOCKET FOR ELECTRICAL ITEMS D E S C R I P C I N
The invention consists of a large capacity socket for charging, for electrical articles, such as bulbs, bulbs, etc. Said socket is formed of a bushing with receptacles receiving receptacle cables, in its upper part; in said sleeve, in its internal part, an angular piece with a resilient means and an elongated piece joined by means of fastening said perforations. In the internal peripheral part of said bushing a plurality of semi-radial protuberances are located which act as a brake against the base of the bulb, bulb, etc. Likewise, said bushing can be of stepped configuration and contain a conventional socket adapter, which is clamped by its lower internal periphery, under pressure or with adhesive, to the upper part of said bushing. FIELD OF THE INVENTION. The present invention relates to connection devices for spotlights, lamps, etc. and, more particularly, with elastic sockets of high load capacity, for spotlights, electric bulbs, and the like. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Currently there is a multiplicity of devices that function as sockets, which allow foci to be introduced, screwed into them, most of which are brass sockets. These sockets also have the disadvantage of
that, in most of the times, it is difficult to couple and uncouple these bulbs, as they stick or are screwed and, when they are removed, they can break or suffer fractures on their surface, causing accidents. There are also provided sockets of elasticity in its internal diameter so that it is enough to push a bulb, bulb, etc. outside of said socket, so that it can then be extracted without causing damage to any of its components, such is the case of the "elastic sockets" of US Patent No. 4,915,667 and Mexican No. 160, 162, owned by the inventor of the present application, which support a low load capacity. OBJECTIVES OF THE PRESENT INVENTION A first objective of the present invention is to provide an elastic socket for electrical articles, such as bulbs, bulbs, and the like, having a high load capacity. A second objective of the present invention is to provide a socket that is durable, easy to install and maneuver. A third objective of the invention is to provide an elastic socket that can be attached to any conventional rope socket. Taking into consideration each and every one of the disadvantages of the prior art and the aforementioned objectives and others not mentioned, the inventor of the present invention carried out a multiplicity of studies, tests and trials that led him to design novel elastic sockets that they overcome all the disadvantages of the previous art and provide a multiplicity of advantages, which is of great importance in the part of the engineering where it remains
understood this invention. A high-capacity elastic socket of the present invention for electrical articles, such as bulbs, bulbs, etc., consists of a stylized cylindrical bushing, with cable receiving perforations and holding means, in its upper section, and an angular plate with a spring and a small semi-elliptical plate, in its internal part, both joined to said bushing by means of rivets. Also, the bushing includes a plurality of semi-radial protrusions in the majority of its internal periphery. Said elastic socket with its fixing means and its protuberances, which act as a brake against the base of the bulb, electric bulb, etc., due to the considerable increase of friction that this generates in combination with the elastic principle of the socket, is capable of support a load of approximately 3 kg. which is currently a requirement, because there are lamps on the market that are fully attached to the bulb or electric bulb, and whose weight is around 3kg. The socket of the present invention is very durable, easy to transport and install, and is able to maintain good contact with light bulbs, electric bulbs and the like, even in tremors or sudden movements, and can be made of light and resistant materials such as hard plastic. , bakelite, ceramics, porcelain, etc. The sockets of the present invention can have different external configurations, that is, their bushing can be cylindrical stylized or cylindrical stepped. The stepped socket socket includes an adapter for "conventional socket, which is fixed under pressure or with adhesive to the top of the socket with stepped socket.
