Abstract

A supporting pipe (2), in particular made of plastics, can be made up of two substantially identical partial elements (3) having each at least one inlet (4) and one outlet (5), as well as at least one radial (6) and/or axial sealing area (7) and at least one union area (8) in communication with the other partial element.

Description

CONCRETE CENTRAL TUBE The present invention relates to a support tube according to the exordium of claim 1, as well as to a filter element according to the exordium of claim 8. Such support tubes and / or filter elements are known per se, example of the published German patent application No. 37 23 807. In the case of such support tubes and / or filter elements is disadvantageous that the manufacture of the same requires different elements that consequently require different tools, making the final product more expensive. A support tube could be provided in one piece, which requires only an injection molding tool for its manufacture. However, this solution has problems in terms of airtightness. The present invention therefore has the purpose of providing a support tube or a filter element of the initially mentioned type, which overcomes the aforementioned disadvantages and which makes it possible to produce a support tube or a filter element that can be produced in a simple manner , with good tightness, and economically. Said purpose is met inventively because the support tube is constituted particularly of plastic material and can be assembled from two substantially identical partial component elements, each component element having at least one entrance opening and an exit opening, as well as at least one area of radial seal and / or axial seal and at least one attachment area capable of coupling with the other partial component element. Through the provision of a sealing face on the component elements constituted of plastic material, as well as their standardization, the number of individual elements required can be reduced, thus producing cheaper products. An advantageous development of the present invention provides that the radial sealing region is substantially cylindrically shaped. This cylindrical configuration further ensures that an even seating is possible by way of a congruent development of the geometry of the support tube, for example of the filter element on the support tube. Another advantageous embodiment of the present invention provides that the radial sealing area is materialized conically. This measure has the advantage that the centering and a forced seat in the sealing area during the mounting of the support tube in the manner of a centering takes place by means of the conical configuration. example in a paper filter cartridge. In a further particularly advantageous embodiment of the present invention, it is provided that the connection areas of both partial component elements are embodied as a snap connection. In this case, it is particularly advantageous that no other mounting means is required for the connection of said partial component elements. Another particularly advantageous development of the present invention provides that the linking areas of both partial component elements are embodied as latching elements. Particularly advantageous in this case is the provision of a secure connection between both component elements, the stability of the element as a whole being ensured. An advantageous development of the present invention provides that the linking areas of both component elements are embodied as a bayonet-type connection. Similar to the snap-in connections, this bayonet-type connection also does not require any additional mounting means. The bayonet-type connection guarantees, in the case of dismantling, a controlled removal of the joint of both partial component elements.
Another advantageous development of the present invention provides that both partial component elements are identical to each other, being possible to manufacture them with the same tool, which ensures economic advantages. This purpose is also satisfied by the fact that a support tube of the type described above is used in a filter element. Particularly advantageous in this case is the use of component elements for the support tube which can be produced in a simple and inexpensive manner with the same tool and which additionally have a sealing function in the areas provided for this purpose after the mounting of the filter element. An exemplary embodiment of the present invention and its further particularly advantageous developments will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: Figure 1 illustrates a complete filtering element in section. Figure 2a illustrates a sectional detail of a rotating bayonet-type bolt connection joint.
Figure 2b illustrates a detailed representation of Figure 2a. Figure 3 illustrates in section a complete filter element consisting of identical component elements. The filter element illustrated in FIG. 1 is constituted by a support tube 2 and a paper cartridge 10. The support tube 2 is constituted by two partial component elements 3. Each of said partial component elements has distributed on its sleeve openings of inlet 4, as well as an outlet opening 5, the actual filtration process taking place from the outside inwards. In the area of the outlet opening 5 there is an axial sealing area 7, by means of which the support tube or the filter element 1 separates the filtered fluid side from the unfiltered fluid side. As an alternative to what was previously described, it would be conceivable that the filtering process can also be operated from the inside out, with the entrance opening becoming the exit opening and vice versa. The paper cartridge 10, which is provided with a terminal washer 11 of the paper cartridge, has in this exemplary embodiment, which is detachable, a gasket 9 placed in said terminal washer of the paper cartridge. Both elements, ie the terminal washer 11 of the paper cartridge and the gasket 9 have a sealing function to separate the side of the filtered fluid from the side of the unfiltered fluid. Both partial component elements 3 of the support tube are mounted so that the paper cartridge 10 is not crushed. In this way a reliable radial seal between the support tube 2 and the paper cartridge 10 takes place in the radial sealing areas of the partial component elements 3 constituting the support tube 2. In the end regions of the partial component elements 3 there is an axial sealing area 7, which can be embodied as an axial sealing washer. In the connection area 8 of both component elements 3, one of the component elements 3 has four latching elastic tongues 12 as an example, while the other component element 3 has congruent latching protrusions 13. During the. assembly of the complete filtering element 1, said press-fit tabs 12 fit into the corresponding congruent locking projections 13 of the other component element 3. In a variant, each of the component elements 3 has, for example, two press-fit tabs and two congruent interlocking projections, as illustrated in FIG. 1, so that both component elements are absolutely identical to each other and can be manufactured using the same tool. In an exemplary embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2a, each partial component element 3 has distributed through its opening inlet openings 4, in the connection region 8 at least one guide pin 14 of a bayonet type closure, as at least one guide pin of said bayonet type closure. The guide shoulder 14 of one of the partial component elements 3 cooperates with the guide journal 15 of the other partial component element so that a removable lock-in-turn connection takes place. FIG. 2b shows the bayonet-type connection with guide pin 14 and guide pins 15, which is illustrated in FIG. 2 a. Each of the partial component elements 3 has by way of example two locking tabs 12 and two congruent locking projections 13, as illustrated in FIG. 3, so that the component elements are absolutely identical to each other and can be manufactured with the same tool. The filter element illustrated in FIG. 3 is constituted by a support tube 2 and a paper cartridge 10. The support tube 2 is constituted by two partial component elements 3. Each of said partial component elements has distributed on its sleeve openings of entry 4, as well as an outlet opening 5, such that the filtering process takes place from the outside to the inside. In the region of the outlet opening 5 there is in each case a sealing area 6, 7, by means of which the support tube or the filter element 1 separates the filtered fluid side from the non-filtered fluid side. As an alternative to this embodiment, it would be conceivable that the filtering process also takes place from the inner part to the outer part, in this case the entrance opening being transformed into an exit opening and vice versa. The paper cartridge 10, which is provided with at least one end washer 11 of the paper cartridge, has in this exemplary embodiment, which is removable, a gasket 9 placed in said terminal washer of the paper cartridge. Both elements, that is to say the terminal washer 11 of the paper cartridge and the gasket 9, have a sealing function to separate the filtered fluid side from the unfiltered fluid side. Both partial component elements 3 are mounted in such a way that the paper cartridge 10 is not crushed. In this way a reliable radial seal between the support tube 2 and the paper cartridge 10 takes place in the radial sealing areas of the respective partial component elements 3, which constitute the support tube 2. On the end sides of the partial component elements 3 there is both an axial sealing area 7, and also a radial sealing area 6, which is embodied as a lip seal.
