Description
"MINI WATER PUMPING PLANT"
TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to apparatus for the purification of water and more specifically to mini-plants for the purifi cation of water.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
As the ecological deterioration progresses, it is increasingly necessary to take care of the quality of the water that is consumed. In this order of things, taking into account that water purification processes -although they are carried out with the proper property, always leave a remnant of chlorine in the water that enters the distribution network. The distribution network of drinking water, due to its aging and consequent deterioration, or because of deficiencies in its treatment, incorporates solid materials that are suspended in water and, frequently, bacteria. In the case of water that is taken directly from the dams or extracted from the subsoil and distributed directly for consumption in homes, markets, hospitals, schools, etc., the danger of contamination of the same is greater. Due to the above, there are in the market small filter units in the form of a ceramic cartridge, filled with silica gel powder, activated carbon and ionizable silver salts, which are installed mainly in homes and other public places, with the object of avoiding such problems. Other filter models include inside the ceramic cartridge, fillers such as propylene yarn, mine, cellulose, cellulose-polyester and other materials. All these filters are complemented with a portion of activated charcoal filling or -also complemented with similar cartridges of activated carbon to eliminate strong odors and flavors and chlorine. The cartridges thus -constructed or become saturated or lose their filtering power very soon and they- have to be discarded besides that during their operation they have a very poor water flow and sometimes they do not completely eliminate the chlorine or strange flavors to the water. For all the above, the inventor of the present application, investigated several alternatives of which one was considered as the -more attractive and viable from the technical and economic point of view- consisting of a mini plant for the treatment of water for use by -table, whose main function is to remove the chlorine taste of -water, eliminate the organic matter in suspension, such as soil, bacteria, silt, etc., and obtain from this equipment completely clean water for human use and consumption. This "mini plant" water purifier, is different from the existing filters in the market such as those that are made up of spark plugs water, also, for its construction, has a backwash system to keep the system clean, system that operates with diffusers to activate it, by means of the movement of three valves and a drain outlet to evacuate the backwash water, and the system also has a pressure gauge and two service valves. This equipment consists of a chlorine dispenser installed at the entrance of the mini plant, and two capsules or tanks built in stainless steel. One of the tanks contains finely screened silica sand and gravel, which serves to polish the water; that is, remove all im purities and the other tank contains silica gravel and activated carbon with 3% colloidal silver ions, gravel, silica, and silica sand. Its function is to remove the odors and flavors contained in raw water such as chlorine, iron caused by pipes, etc. This mini plant is portable and backwashing, does not need spare parts, its maintenance is easy and unique based on biweekly or monthly backwashes, depending on the use and fills a one-liter container in just 10 seconds. It has a useful life of 8 to 10 years without changing the pieces.
This appliance is indispensable in the home, where it can be installed preferably in the kitchen, it is also necessary in shops, bakeries, soda fountains, restaurants, laboratories, etc., where pollution-free water is required. Taking into account all the disadvantages of the previous art, the inventor of this application, made a multiplicity of -studies, tests and experiments that led him to provide a new mini water purification plant, novel, which obviously is importance in the part of the engineering where this invention is included.
OBJECTIVE OF THE INVENTION
The main objective of the invention is to provide a mini plant for the purification of water for human consumption that has an integrated backwash system that keeps it in a state of permanent cleaning, without the need to disassemble it.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
For a better understanding of the invention, this is presented based on a preferred modality that is illustrated in the attached drawings and in which:
