Description

QUICK COUPLING FOR THE ASSEMBLY OF A PRESSURE MEDIUM CYLINDER IN A CASING Description of the Invention The present invention relates to a quick coupling for mounting cylinders of pressure media in housings, in accordance with the main concept of claim 1. A mounting structure is known from U.S. Patent 4,640,478. for fixing a cylinder of pressure medium in a housing, a structure consisting of a bayonet-type coupling with an undercut, wherein the cylinder of the pressure medium is held in position by the spring force of an additional spring. For this reason, the cylinder of the pressure medium has partial ribs extending over the periphery, which can be coupled in recesses of projections installed in the wall of the housing and which have to be shaped in it in an enhanced manner. The assembly is carried out by simple movements that can be carried out without tools, specifically by pushing the pressure medium cylinder inside the housing wall until the stop, then rotating approximately 45 ° and finally by incorporating the additional spring for holding the pressure medium cylinder with its peripheral trapezoidal ribs in the fasteners provided in the wall of the housing, in bayonet coupling. Even though the cylinder of the pressure medium with its partially peripheral ribs is relatively simple to manufacture, fixing to the wall of the casing nevertheless requires a greater expense due to the preparation of a mounting plate that has to be attached to the wall of the housing. This mounting plate has the receiving structures of the bayonet coupling and has to be manufactured separately. From US Pat. No. 4,488,701 another possibility is known for the tool-free clamping of a cylinder of pressure medium to a wall of a housing. During the assembly of the pressure medium cylinder in the housing wall, a bayonet coupling is closed by turning the pressure medium cylinder by 45 °. An annular seal keeps the fixed bayonet coupling free of play, and an additional spring ensures the connection against an opposite rotation and the drop of the pressure medium cylinder out of the housing wall by engagement in a securing device. It is not always possible to rotate the installed pressure medium cylinders through 45 °, particularly in the very tight spaces of motor vehicles, especially when there are installations attached perpendicular to the cylinder axis of the pressure medium. It is therefore the task of the invention to create a quick coupling for mounting a cylinder of pressure medium in a housing, which can be manipulated and disassembled by hand, where no rotary movements are required and in which the spaces of one and another side of the housing wall can be sealed with respect to each other. The solution of the task is described in the claims. On the basis of the drawings, two different embodiments of a quick coupling are described for mounting a cylinder of pressure medium in a housing. They show: Fig. 1 a cylinder of pressure medium in a state mounted on a housing wall with a retaining projection and a detent spring with a rubber hood as a sealing package; FIG. 2 shows the wall of the housing with two openings and contours for fixing the retaining projection and the securing projection; Fig. 3 a cylinder of pressure medium with a fixing device according to Fig. 1 and an additional securing by retaining projections below the securing spring; Fig. 4 the retaining projections on hand operated mounting brackets; Fig. 5 the wall of the housing with mounting structures, consisting of an opening with contours. If 1 is called the pressure medium cylinder, then it comprises a cylinder body 3, a piston 4 and a plunger 5. The cylinder 1 of the pressure medium is mounted on the wall of a housing, where the section is located on one side of the wall 2 of the housing. hydraulic cylinder in the form of the cylinder 1 of the pressure medium with its connections, and on the other side of the wall 2 of the housing is the mechanical section, not shown, which follows after the plunger 5. In accordance with FIG. it can manually join the pressure medium cylinder 1 with the wall 2 of the housing, without the aid of tools, specifically by means of a fixing device of the pressure medium cylinder 1 comprising a stop flange 6 with a retaining projection 7 as well as a detent spring 14 with a detent projection 10, wherein the retaining projection 7 and the detent projection 10 can be fixed in mounting structures of the wall 2 of the casing. The mounting structures in this case are constituted by a first opening 8 with a first contour 15 and a second opening 9 with a second contour 16. The first opening 8 is just the size that allows the fastening projection 7 to be inserted and hook in the first contour 15. The second opening 9 in this case is larger to allow parts of the cylinder body 3 to pass through the wall 2 of the casing, and to bring the fastener 10 to its connection with the second contour 16. As can be seen from FIG. 2, the holding projection 7 overlaps the first contour 15 in the first opening 8 and the projection 10 fastens the second contour 16 in the second opening 9 in such a way that by force of spring of the spring 14 of the detent, clamping forces are produced in the wall 2 of the housing for the cylinder 1 of the pressure medium. In most cases it is necessary to hermetically seal the two spaces on either side of the wall 2 of the housing with respect to each other. This airtight sealing can be effected on the one hand by the seat of the stop flange 6 against the wall 2 of the housing, where only a sealing element 11 is required to seal the region around the catch 10. Another version of the sealing seal is made according to FIG. 1 by means of a rubber cap, which is arranged around the body 3 of the cylinder and rests with the edge of its configuration as a bowl against the wall of the casing, being that the edge also encloses the assembly structures. The sealing element 11 can be configured as a rubber molded part and be arranged between the detent spring 14 and the cylinder body 3 after the mounting of the pressure medium cylinder 1 in the wall 2 of the housing, thereby preventing the spring 14 of the detent can spring inwardly and thereby the retaining projection 10 is removed by bending the second contour 16. The sealing element 11 complies with this, in addition to the task of sealing one with respect to the other both spaces to one and another side of the wall 2 of the casing, also that of securing the spring 14 of the fastener after the mounting of the cylinder 1 of the pressure medium in the wall 2 of the casing. The disassembly of the cylinder 1 from the pressure medium is also carried out essentially without the aid of tools, by flexing the catch projection 10 by withdrawing it from the second contour 16 of the wall 2 of the housing, after the sealing element 11 having been removed. acts as a safe under the spring 14 of the sear. The cylinder of the pressure medium can now be released from the housing wall 2 by tilting the detent spring out of its connection, for which the cylinder 1 of the pressure medium needs only to describe a small tilting angle. In the event that it is not possible to tilt it, then the securing spring 14 should be able to spring a greater distance, specifically that of the height of the fastening projection 7. In the event that it is desired to facilitate the disassembly, a mounting aid 13 in the form of a recess in the second contour 16 is possible. This aid can already be seen after slightly flexing the catch projection 10 by withdrawing it from the second contour 16 and, with the help of a screwdriver or an appropriate tool it is possible to deflect the locking projection 10 by means of leverage. The mounting aid 13 can be designed in such a way that when the catch projection 10 is locked in the second contour 16, a small part of the mounting aid 13 can still be seen, by means of which it is possible to insert a tool without the previous flexing of the projection 10 guarantor. According to FIG. 3 a second variant of a pressure medium cylinder 21 is shown, which consists of a cylinder body 23, a piston 24 and a plunger 25. The body 23 of the cylinder has a clamping device that it is constituted by a securing groove 27 in an extension of the housing and a detent spring 28 with a securing projection 30. With this clamping device, the pressure medium cylinder 21 can be mounted on a wall 22 of a housing having mounting structures according to FIG. 5, which consist of an opening 29 with a first contour 31, a second contour 32 and a mounting aid 33. The detent spring 28 has, together with the projection 30, at a certain distance from the wall 22 of the housing, a stop rib 42, which in the case of mounting the cylinder 21 of the pressure medium in the wall 22 of the housing it comes into contact with the wall, thus fixing the position of the cylinder 21 of pressure medium with respect to the wall 22 of the housing. The first contour 31 and the second contour 32 are parallel to each other and allow the input pivoting of the clamping device of the pressure medium cylinder 21 after the fastening groove 27 is inserted in the first contour 31, until the fastener 30 it engages in the second contour 32 after the stop rib 42 has come to abut against the wall 22 of the housing. The pressure medium cylinder 21 has at its mounting end a coupling diameter 26 which is again in the contour of the opening 29 for reasons of tightness.
The mounting of the pressure medium cylinder 21 on the wall 2 of the housing must be possible in only one position, whereby the reception contours which are constituted by the first opening 8 and the second opening 9 are configured in such a way that the holding projection 7 can only be connected to the first opening 8 and the locking spring 14 can only be connected to the second opening 9. For this reason the first contour has a first length 17 and the second contour 16 has a second length 18, whereby the first length 17 corresponds to the width of the fastening projection 7 and the second length 18 corresponds to the width of the fastener spring 14. In a manner analogous to what has been finished, it is prevented that the pressure medium cylinder 21 is mounted incorrectly in the mounting structures of the housing wall 22, proceeding in such a way that the first contour 31 has a first length 43 and the second contour 32 has a second length 44, the first length 43 being distinctly different from the second length 44. The first length 43 corresponds to the width of the fastening groove 27 and the second length 44 corresponds to the width of the fastener 28 of spring. According to FIG. 4 a safety device is shown which becomes effective after the pressure medium cylinder 21 is anchored in the wall 22 of the housing. It is a first securing clamp 34 and a second securing clamp 35 arranged opposite in mirror image with respect to the central plane of the pressure medium cylinder 21, the first securing clamp 34 having a first projection 36 of retention, a first operating lever 38 and a first turning point 40, while the second securing bracket 35 has a second retaining projection 37, a second operating lever 39 and a second turning point 41. The securing clamps 34 and 35 are connected to the cylinder body 23 through the turning points 40 and 41 and can be moved by an operation in opposite directions of the operating levers 38 and 39 in such a way that the Retaining protrusions, which are pushed by spring force between the detent spring 28 and the cylinder body 23, can be released from their detent position, whereby the spring 28 of the fastener and thereby the projection 30 can be flexed. The retainer projections 36 and 37 can have a slightly conical shape, so that in the mounting position according to FIG. 4 an additional tensioning force is achieved for the spring 28. The locking element 32 against the second contour 32, whereby a counterforce is produced at the butt joint of the fastening groove 27 against the first contour 31. The advantage of such a safety resides in n the possibility of releasing the cylinder 21 of pressure medium from its anchor using simple means and without the aid of tools, even after a longer time.
