Description
SYSTEM OF ANTI-THEFT LOCK, PARTICULARLY FOR BOXES FOR THE PROTECTION OF CONTAINERS. AUDIO AND VIDEO CASSETTE. ELECTRONIC GAMES AND COMPACT DISKS
The present invention concerns a lock system intended to prevent theft in the storage of articles or to avoid the subtraction of an article from the box containing it, for articles such as cassettes, videocassettes, compact discs, CD ROMs, lenses, bottles , packaging, etc. Many solutions are known in the state of the art, in particular a lock system described in French patent FR2678907. The device described in that patent offers general satisfaction. The object of the invention is to further simplify the realization by reducing the number of pieces and giving them a profile that allows reducing the cost of molding and assembly. Another objective is to further strengthen the effectiveness of the system against rape attempts, improving mechanical resistance. For this purpose, the invention more particularly concerns a lock system of the type that includes a fixed part attached to a box having a slot for inserting the article to be protected and a movable part provided with a special retaining stop for sealing partially the insertion slot in the closed position. The system further includes appropriate means to prevent displacement of the movable part without a specific tool. The fixed part has a guide on the back that extends in a substantially longitudinal direction. In front of that guide, a protuberance has a clearing including a substantially longitudinal rear segment prolonged by an inclined segment extending to the upper edge. The movable part is constituted by an interlocking piece that includes in the vicinity of its front end a transverse wall perforated by a slot. This slot has a section complementary to the section of the guide previously seen on the fixed part. In the intermediate part, the movable part contains a transverse projection rod of its own to cooperate with the clearing of the fixed part in order to ensure that the movable part is guided following the longitudinal movement at the beginning and then obliquely. The advantage of the lock system according to the invention includes a sheet along the entire length of the upper wall, of the movable part according to a substantially longitudinal direction in which one of the ends is integral with the rear part of the movable part and wherein the front part is free, and extends, at rest, in closed position, against a retaining stop previously seen in the protrusion of the fixed part. According to a preferred embodiment, the free end of said sheet is sharp. This feature is focused on preventing it from opening improperly when a violent shock causes the blade to vibrate. According to another advantageous variant, the system includes a spring that has support on one side on the fixed part and, on the other hand, on the movable part, so that movement of the movable member is facilitated after opening the lock. According to an advantageous exemplary embodiment, the spring is interlocked in a slot provided inclined forwardly of the protrusion of the fixed part. According to another variant of operation, the protrusion of the fixed part has an extension forming a projection with respect to the front face and achieving cooperation in the closed position from a housing provided for this purpose on the front face of the movable part. the present invention can be better understood by reading the following description, based on the drawings where: - figure 1 represents a longitudinal section view of the lock system in closed position, - figure 2 represents a perspective view of the fixed part; - Figure 3 represents a view in longitudinal section of the lock system in the open position. Figure 1 represents a longitudinal sectional view of the lock system in the closed position. A fixed part (1) integral with the box and a movable part (2) is included. This constituent part of the extension of the box is obtained during the molding of the box, not represented in the figure. It has a guide (3) at the rear that extends according to a longitudinal axis with respect to a rear protrusion (4) perpendicular to the face of the box. Its rear part has a slope (24) inclined so that the energy of a shock at this site is dispersed in the movable part, and that is not transmitted longitudinally to its components that could, in extreme cases, cause cracks. The fixed part (2) represented in figure 2, seen in perspective, presents another protrusion (5) located forward of this guide (3). This protrusion (5) has a clear (6) inclined forward and opening toward the upper edge (7) of the protrusion (5). This clear (6) is bent and has a substantially longitudinal rear segment (8) extended by a segment (9) that extends in a general forward inclined direction, up to the upper edge (7) of the protuberance (5). An elastically deformable peak (20) partially seals the entrance of this clearing (6). This allows the passage to the force of the rod (20) as soon as it is assembled with the movable part, and prevents its removal after assembly. The protrusion (5) also has in its front part a clear (10) inclined forward, opening to the level of the front front face (12). A spring (14) is housed in this clear (10). The protrusion (5) also has on its front front face an extension (13) extending substantially longitudinally. The movable part (2) is constituted by a piece whose transversal section forms an inverted "U". It has an upper face (15), substantially rectangular side faces and a front front face (16) extended by a retaining stop (17). It further includes a transverse compartment (18) located in the vicinity of the rear end, and a transverse rod (19) in the intermediate position. The transverse compartment (18) is perforated by a rectangular cutting hole (21) for the passage of the guide (3). A sheet (22) is disposed in the vicinity of the upper face. In closed position, shown in FIG. 1, this sheet is supported by its rear end against a retaining stop provided on the inner surface of the upper wall (15), for example against the transverse compartment (18), and its part above against a retaining stop (23) extending the upper surface of the protrusion (5). The sheet (22) prevents the relative displacement of the parts, the movable (2) and the fixed (1), since the longitudinal segment (8) of the clearing (6) and the guide (3) prevent vertical movement of the movable part (2). It is, therefore, impossible to remove the retaining stop (17) from the opening of the box. The extension (13) also comes to be placed in the complementary cavity of the front front face of the movable part (2) to prevent the formation of a lifting arm in case of attempted violation of the device. As soon as a magnet approaches the upper face
(15) of the movable part (2), the sheet is attracted towards it and frees the passage to the level of the retaining stop (23). It then becomes possible to longitudinally move the movable part (2) to the open position shown in figure 3. Since the transverse rod (20) comes at the level of the inclined segment (9), it guides the movement of the movable part ( 2) in a pivoting movement with respect to the hole (21), which ensures the displacement of the front part and particularly of the retaining stop (17) in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The retaining stop (17) then releases the slot in the box. In order to avoid unintended release, the sheet has a sharp cutting plate at the tip. In the event of a violent impact, the force is brought against the stop (23) and the sharp and pointed character of the front end prevents the sliding against the rear surface of this retaining stop. The movable part (2) can be simply fastened on the fixed part (1) at the time of assembly, which reduces the manufacturing cost. The peak (20) prevents undue disassembly of the system. It is well understood that the present invention can be made under numerous equivalent variants without thereby departing from the field of protection.
