Description

DNA FLEXIBLE BAG AND UM REUSABLE DISPATCHER DEVICE FIELD DB THE INVENTION The invention relates to a package comprising: a flexible bag containing a supply of disposable tissues, the bag comprises an upper surface, a lower surface, a side surface, a first dispensing opening preformed on the upper surface and a cover member covering the first dispensing opening, and a relatively rigid reusable dispensing device, comprising a joining means for reliably attaching to the bag. The invention also relates to a reusable dispensing device and a flexible bag for use in packaging.
BACKGROUND DB THE INVENTION A flexible package and a reusable dispensing device are known from European Patent EP-B-0 251 103. In this document, a flexible bag containing wet or wet cleansing wipes is described. The bag comprises a preformed dispensing opening and an adhesive label that is permanently attached to the bag at one end to open and close the bag repeatedly. To support the conformation of the bag, even when the bag is almost empty, and to allow proper closure of the adhesive label of the bag, the bag is connected to a member that retains the configuration. The configuration-conserving member can be in the form of a cardboard container or a holding frame mounted around the side surfaces and the upper surface of the bag. The system described above has the disadvantage that the adhesive lock of the flexible bag, by means of the adhesive label, will not always be airtight. When the bag is transported, the bag can be squashed or crushed in the user's suitcase or it can be transported with the dispensing opening upside down. Leakage may occur through the opening along the adhesive label. In addition, the adhesive closure of the bag is subject to contamination, for example with baby lotion or powder. Known adhesive labels lose their adhesive closing power when in contact with these substances. Finally, an adhesive label to close several times requires a special joining means to permanently attach a part of the label to the bag, an adhesive to be used several times and a reliable surface in the bag from which the adhesive can be easily separated. . It is an object of the present invention to provide a flexible package containing disposable tissues and a reusable dispensing device that allows easy dispensing and reliable bag sealing. It is another object of the invention to provide a flexible package comprising wet cleaning wipes and a reusable dispensing device that provides a hermetic seal of the bag. It is another object of the present invention to provide a closure in a flexible bag, which is resistant to contamination. It is a further object of the invention to provide a relatively simple and inexpensive manufacturing bag for containing disposable tissues.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In accordance with the invention, a package comprises a cover member that is fully removable from a dispensing opening in the bag. The upper surface of the bag comprises a sealing area. The sealing area forms a substantially closed contour around the first dispensing opening of the upper surface of the bag. A reusable dispensing device of relatively rigid material is provided, comprising: a base member having a second dispensing opening, a connection area for sealingly coupling the seal area of the bag, and - a sealing member for sealing the second dispensing opening making contact with the base member. Adequate sealing of the dispensing opening in the bag is achieved by providing a lock of separate rigid material in the dispensing device, consisting of the base member and the closure member or cover; the dispensing device is attached to the dispensing opening of the flexible bag. As the flexible bag cover member can be completely removed from the dispensing opening in the bag, this cover member can be of simple construction. In the event that the bag contains dry disposable tissues, the cover member may be formed by a closed fold line on the upper surface of the bag. After removal of the cover member, the dispensing device seals the opening and prevents dust or dirt from entering the interior of the open bag. In the case of disposable handkerchiefs with fragrance, the closure formed by the dispensing device prevents the perfume of the tissues from evaporating. In case the bag contains wet or wet disposable tissues, the cover member comprises an adhesive label, which is completely removable from the bag. In such case, it is not necessary to take special measures to permanently fix a part of the label to the bag. In addition, it is not necessary to use reusable adhesive on the label of the bag. The rigid, non-adhesive nature of the dispensing device allows for the proper sealing of the dispensed device which is not subject to contamination. One embodiment of a package according to the invention comprises a flexible bag having at least two slots through the upper surface of the bag in the vicinity of the first dispensing opening. Preferably, the grooves are covered by the cover member, such as the adhesive label, before being used and are uncovered when using the bag for the first time. The dispensing device comprises two projections extending generally in the direction of the upper surface of the bag as it is inserted through the slots and for fixedly engaging the upper surface of the bag when the dispensing device is rotated. The dispensing device can be easily screwed into the flexible bag to provide a seal between the base member of the dispensing device and the bag material. Another embodiment of a package according to the invention comprises a dispensing device having a flange comprising an outer radius extending beyond the perimeter of the dispensing opening of the bag after its insertion therein. The flexible nature of the bag will allow the tab of the dispensing device, in spite of its greater radius than the dispensing opening, to be inserted in the dispensing opening and retained therein. Preferably, an annular rim of dimensions similar to those of the dispensing opening is attached to the flange and extends in a direction perpendicular to the upper surface of the pouch. The annular flange may comprise a circumferential groove for hermetically coupling the dispensing opening with the edge. The rigid ring flange will be frictionally coupled with the towels when dispensed and will help the towels unfold when pulled from the package.
In another package, again in accordance with the invention, the dispensing device is generally formed by a U-shaped fastener comprising a lower member for engagement with the lower surface of the bag, a transverse member and the base member attached to the member cross. When used, the bag is held between the base member and the lower member. Due to the resilient holding force of the U-shaped member, the base member of the dispensing device is hermetically coupled with the upper surface of the bag. Even when the size of the bag decreases upon emptying the bag, a sealing engagement of the base member with the top surface can be maintained. For this purpose, the transverse member can be provided with a hinge to adjust the dimensional changes of the bag when dispensing the wet cleaners, or the disposable tissues, allowing the lower member to reach the base member of the U-shaped dispensing device. the same effect providing an elastic member to engage contracted with the lower surface of the bag. In another embodiment, the flexible bag comprises a sealable groove in one of the side faces of the upper face, through which a base plate of the dispensing device can be inserted, between the tissues P521 disposable and the surface of the bag. The dispensing device comprises a pin which, at the closure of the dispensing device, is inserted into the opening of the upper surface of the bag and into the underlying opening of the base plate. The upper surface of the bag is hermetically clamped between the plug and the base plate. The dispensing device can be easily applied to the bag by a user. Again in another embodiment of a package according to the invention, the dispensing device forms a rigid upper half, of a container having no lower surface. The material of the bag forms the flexible lower half of this container. For proper sealing, the sealing area of the bag can be coated with a pressure sensitive adhesive to attach the connection area of the dispensing device in a sealing manner to the upper surface of the bag. Before use, the seal area can be coated with the adhesive label that covers the dispensing opening on the upper surface of the bag.

DESCRIPTION DETAT T.anA nw THE INVENTION Figure 1 shows a package 1 comprising a flexible bag 3 and a reusable dispensing device 17. The flexible bag 3 contains a supply of disposable tissues, such as, for example, wet cleaning towel 5 and closed by means of a covering member which is formed in this case, by an adhesive label 15. The adhesive label 15 is superimposed on a preformed dispensing opening 13 which can be formed by a cut or a fold line on the upper surface 7 of the bag 5. After the opening of the bag 5 by the total removal of the label 15, the dispensing device 17 can be inserted into the opening dispenser 13, as shown in FIG. Figure 2. The wet cleaners 5 can be dispensed through the dispensing device 17, which can be hermetically sealed by the closure member 29. The term "wet cleansing wipes" is intended to mean any disposable handkerchief, towels or sheets of fibrous material. having a content of P521 moisture of at least 50% by weight. The fibers can be of natural origin, such as for example cellulosic fibers or they can be synthetic fibers or combinations thereof. Preferred disposable tissues comprise a blend of 50% polypropylene and 50% viscose fibers as provided by Suominen (P.O. Box 25, 29251 Nakila, Finland, under the trade name Fibrella 3100G2). The moisture contained in the disposable handkerchief 5 may comprise a water-based lotion comprising, for example, 95% by weight of water and comprising skin care components, stabilizers, cleaning agents and perfume. The disposable handkerchiefs in the bag 3 can also be "dry" handkerchiefs, that is, handkerchiefs having a moisture content below 50% by weight. Instead of or in addition to moisture, disposable handkerchiefs may contain liquid or solid materials such as abrasive particles or furniture polishers. The bag 3 is made of a flexible material. The term "flexible" means a material for sheet of paper that deforms upon insertion into the dispensing device, pleating or bending or shaping it in any way. The paper sheet materials suitable for making a flexible bag are homogeneous films or laminates of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, P521 aluminum and combinations thereof, of a thickness between 12 and 100 microns. The flexible bags 3 can be produced at low cost from a roll of bag material, in continuous movement, by first cutting the preformed dispensing openings 13 in a roll of continuous material, then attaching the adhesive labels 15 on the preformed dispensing openings, placing a set of wet cleansers in the roll, bending the continuous roll along a longitudinal fold line in a tubular arrangement wrapping the cleansers. From there a longitudinal bond line is formed in the overlapped material of the bag, and the front and rear side surfaces 12 and 14 are heat sealed and cut. In the event that the bag contains dry disposable tissues, the adhesive label can be omitted, the dispensing opening is formed by a fold line or with perforations in the bag material. The dispensing opening 13 can be formed by a closed cut and removing the material from the bag within the cut. In a preferred embodiment, the material contained in the bag is present within the closed cutting line, and is attached to the adhesive label 15. In this way, the adhesive surface of the label does not touch the surface of the cleaner that remains up. , Y P521 a sealed bag seal is guaranteed before being used for the first time. It is important that when opening, only the material contained in the bag inside the dispensing opening 13 is removed and that the material of the bag in the vicinity of the dispensing opening is not mistreated or damaged. The upper surface of the bag surrounding the dispensing aperture thus forms a seal area 21 to be in contact with the reusable dispensing device. The term "seal area" is intended to mean a substantially continuous area of the upper surface of the bag surrounding the dispensing opening. A pair of cutting lines 8 and 10 can be provided to facilitate the insertion of the reusable dispensing device 17. A suitable adhesive for the label 15 is available from MacTac Europe SA, Bd. Kennedy, B-7060 Soignies, Belgium, under the number of type MacTac MP 318 and MacTac MR 980. The label 15 has no permanent bonding area, so that it can be easily removed from the upper surface 7 of the bag 3. The label 15 may comprise an adhesive which, upon removal of the label 15 , remains attached to the seal area of the upper surface of the bag, so that a dispensing device can be attached to the adhesive to provide a seal between the material of the bag and the bag.
P521 dispensing device. The reusable dispensing device 17 is relatively rigid. The term "rigid" means that the conformation of the dispensing device is not significantly altered when the device is inserted into the package and / or when opening and closing the device. However, more or less flexible parts can be provided in the dispensing device to facilitate the insertion of the device into the dispensing opening of the bag. For example, the dispensing device may comprise a flexible plastic or thin rubber tab, which deforms when inserted into the bag to return to its original shape after it has been attached. Suitable dispensing devices can be made from a wide variety of materials such as polyethylene or polypropylene, by injection molding, blow molding or thermal forming and can have a wall thickness of between 0.5 mm and 1.0 mm. The dispensing device 17 comprises joining means, which are formed in this embodiment, by a flange 37 and a circumferential groove 18, for attaching the device 17 to the seal area 21 of the bag. The flange 37 can be inserted through the dispensing opening, the seal area of the bag is formed by the inner face of the upper surface 7 in the vicinity of the opening P521 Dispatcher 13. The flange 37 forms a connection area 27 in the dispensing device that makes contact with the seal area 21 of the bag 3. The dispensing device 17 comprises a base member 23, which in this case is formed by a flange annular having a circumferential groove 18 for sealingly engaging the perimeter of the dispensing aperture 13. The dispensing aperture 25 in the base member 23 may be covered by a closure member 29, such as a tilting cap. Figure 3 shows a cross-sectional view of an embodiment wherein a reinforcing layer, such as an insert member 52 of relatively rigid material, is located below the upper surface 7 of the bag 3. The insert member it can be formed by a polyethylene layer with a thickness between 0.7 mm and 1 mm, and is sealingly coupled with the circumferential groove 18 in the annular rim of the base member 23. Instead of using a tilting lid 29 in the embodiment of Figure 3 as the closure for the delivery device 17, a fixed cover can be used and the flange 37 can be omitted. In this way, a pin is formed which, when dispensing a disposable handkerchief, can be removed in its entirety from the reinforcement member 52.
P521 Figure 4 shows an embodiment wherein the closing member of the dispensing device 17 is formed by a rotating member 32, located within the opening of the entire annular flange 39. The member 32 can be rotated by actuating a notching nip 34. The dispensing device of Figure 4 comprises a flange 40 and an annular groove 41. Figure 5 shows a dispensing device 17 for coupling with an essentially rectangular dispensing opening 13 in the upper surface 7 of the bag, and having two sliding closing members. 36.38. Figure 6 shows a dispensing device 17 comprising two protuberances 33 in the lower part of the base member 23. The protuberances 33 can be inserted in a pair of slots 30, 31 in the upper surface 7 of the bag, as shown in the FIG. Figure 7. By rotating the dispensing device, the material of the bag is held between the protrusion 33. The final part of each protrusion 33 can be provided with a notch that engages in a hole 35, 40 in the bag to hold the device Dispatcher 17 in a fixed position and to prevent the device 17 from separating from the bag 3. Figure 8 shows a bag 3 having a P521 slot 53 on its side surface 11. Slot 53 is covered by an adhesive label 57, which is permanently attached to the lateral surface 11 along the melting line 54. The dispensing device 17 comprises a flat base plate 56 having a dispensing opening, and a pin 55, which fits into the dispensing opening. When using the bag 3 for the first time, the dispensing opening 13 is uncovered, the label 57 is pulled back from the slot 53 and the base plate 56 is inserted through the slot 53 between the wet cleaner that is higher and the top surface 7 of the bag. After that, slot 53 is closed again. In this embodiment, the attachment means for the dispensing device 17 is formed by the relatively large top portion of the pin 55 and the base plate 56.
By inserting the plug 55 into the base plate 56, the material of the bag in the sealing area of the bag is held between the upper part of the bag 55 and the base plate 56. In an alternative embodiment, the base plate 56 can inserted through the slot in the upper surface 7 of the bag 3. Again alternatively, the base plate 56 can be a disposable base plate that has been inserted into the bag 3 by the manufacturer, the reusable dispensing device only comprises the Reusable plug 55.
P521 Figures 9 and 10 show an embodiment of a flexible bag 3 according to the invention, wherein the dispensing device 17 is formed by a cover 58 which fits on the upper surface 7 of the bag 3. The sides 59, 60 of cover 58 hold the cover over the bag and hold it in place. The sides 59, 60 may extend completely along the side surfaces of the bag, so that the dispensing device forms the upper half of a rigid container, the lower surface of the bag forming the lower half of the container. An adhesive area 61 can be located around the dispensing opening 13 in the seal area 21 of the bag to make sealing contact with the cover 58. A suitable adhesive is available from Findley Euro B.K., P.O. Box 180, 4700 AD Roosendaal, NL under the number type H-4031. Alternatively, mechanical fasteners such as for example the Velero® material can be used in place of the adhesive 61 if the hermetic seal is not essential. As shown in Figure 10, an elastic member 62 can be connected to the cover 58 to maintain a sealing contact between the upper surface 7 and the cover when the height of the bag 3 decreases when the bag is emptied. Figures 11 and 12 show a device P521 dispenser 19 which is formed by a U-shaped fastener 42. The fastener 42 comprises a lower member 43 and the base member 47 extending perpendicularly to the transverse member 45. The free ends of the members 43, 47 are slightly curved in one direction towards the other to be around the bag 3. The base member 47 and the lower member 43 are flexible, and can be separated to fit around the bag 3, as shown in Figure 14. The base member 47 comprises a cover 51, which can be sealingly closed on the dispensing opening 13. The flexible nature of the fastening construction presses the base member 47 against the overlying sealing area of the upper surface 7 of the bag 3, so as to achieves a sealing seal between the base member 47 and the bag 3. A suitable material for the fastener 42 is propylene, polystyrene or polyester. A hinge 49 can be provided in the U-shaped fastener.
