Description
- I- CONTAINER FOR WÜ
DESCRIPTION DI
This invention relates to a container for fluid material, that is, a container, for example a bottle or a bottle, to contain fluid substances, for example liquids or powders, mainly, although not exclusively for home use. The prior art comprises bottles or bottles obtained by a blow molding method which comprises welding and heat forming sheets of plastics, for fluid products in general, which can be opened by cutting or tearing the upper end of a neck: the process opening is not particularly simple for the consumer, as it involves a certain amount of waste of time: in fact, attempting to open by cutting involves the use of appropriate tools such as scissors or knives, which are particularly dangerous in a domestic environment, while that the process of opening by tearing is, for the most part, imprecise and often results in accidental spillage of the fluid material; the closing of such containers is made possible by means of pressure insertion or screw insertion plugs which are inserted into the opening of the neck with the corresponding shape.
REF: 24576 WO-94/08852 discloses such a container in which the welding zone of the sheets constitutes a contour seal reinforcement of the container. In one version, to close again, the threaded cap cooperates with saw-like teeth, formed on the outer edge of the reinforcement on respective opposite sides of the neck, the threaded cap is also arranged to cooperate with the interrupted threaded formed in the walls respective opposite of the neck. In another version, a non-threaded cap is formed to internally close with diametrically opposed slots which receive the respective portions of the reinforcement on respective opposite sides of the container discharge mouth to place and retain the cap over the open neck . The application for international patent is known
PCT / EP94 / 02493, which describes a method for packaging an edible product, consisting of inserting into the base of the hollow interior of a disposable package, which can also serve as a mold, before pouring the product into shape. liquid The package has been formed by blow molding a pair of plastic sheets and consists of a pair of covers with opposite concavities, heat sealed around its periphery. The insert, received between the covers, can take the form of a straw for drinking, and the fins of the covers receiving the free end of the insert therebetween can be detached to a certain extent to show the free end area of the straw. To drink, for the consumer to drink the liquid product from the container. The fins are preferably provided with lines of weakness that facilitate the separation of the fins without the covers necessarily separating completely. GB-A-2003449 describes a flexible bag for storing food, medicines, blood or the like. Around the periphery of the bag a solder seal is provided between the two thermoplastic sheets forming the bag; through the weld seal extend tubular inlets or outlets beyond which portions of the bag extend between which are detachable seals that close the outer ends of the tubes. Beyond the removable seals, the bag portions form tabs which can be held and pulled to separate and open any of the selected tear-off seals until additionally the peel separation is stopped by the weld seal. Such containers can be considered improved. For example, it is highly desirable to solve the technical problems involved in the process of opening by cutting or tearing, especially to obtain an optimal and rapid opening procedure. Another technical problem which would be desirable to solve is the way to obtain an easy and reliable process of closing the container again, after it has been opened. In addition, it is desirable to provide in the opening area some means which, with flexibility, can serve one or more functions. According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a container for fluid material, which comprises a pair of opposed members adhered together along a peripheral seal, the seal area is joined at an outlet designed from the container and is removable, so that the members can be separated from each other in the area by pushing, characterized in that a curl extends around the members. The curl can be used for one or more of different purposes. An element can be mounted for reclosing the container and / or can be used to extend the discharge opening of the container and / or can limit the extent to which the peripheral seal of the container can be detached by detachment. In a preferred embodiment, a container obtained by the blow molding of two face-to-face sheets of plastics and sealed along a reinforcement extending over substantially the entire contour of the container, or by a substantial portion thereof, has a neck attached to an outlet from which the fluid material will flow. A zone of the reinforcement in the neck is made so that it can be detached, that is, the neck members of the covers constituting the container can be pulled apart. This allows the container to be opened very quickly without the use of tools or tear. An element for reclosing the neck members advantageously consists of a fork-shaped element which is mechanically attached to the container of any suitable shape and which can be placed to encompass the members. This allows the container to be closed easily, simply and quickly after use, so that the risk of contamination of the product contained therein is eliminated. In a particularly advantageous version, there is a closed cycle, i.e., a ring, which slides on the neck of the container and which has an internal surface formed with a pair of diametrically opposed incisions, i.e., grooves, to guide the ring in the corresponding parts of the sealing reinforcement; the incisions are interconnected by a pair of internal surface areas that diverge towards the outer end of the neck to receive correspondingly shaped portions of the neck which are widened by lowering the ring after the neck has been opened. This allows the open configuration of the mouth of the container to be optimized to carry out the pouring of the product more easily. The base surfaces of the pair of incisions converge towards the outer end of the neck to cooperate with the corresponding converging edges of the reinforcement. In this way, the opening of the container is aided when the ring is pushed down, widening the neck members in the area of the neck that can be opened. The lower edges of the pair of diverging zones of the inner surface of the ring may interfere with the neck of the container, be tapering upwards, additionally to urge the neck members to separate when the ring is pushed downward, of this They collaborate with the surfaces of the base of the incisions. This further promotes the opening of the neck. Preferably some means are provided to hold the ring securely in position; for example, the upper edges of the base surfaces of the incisions may engage gradual contact surfaces formed on corresponding parts of the reinforcement that can be opened. This allows the neck configuration to be maintained when it is open. Advantageously, the ring can be connected to an element for reclosing. This allows a particularly compact device to be obtained for the container to close again. Some embodiments of the invention are illustrated, by way of example only, in the accompanying drawings, in which: Figure 1 is a fragmentary axonometric view of a container; Figure 2 is an axonometric view of a ring to allow opening of a neck of the container and equipped with a device for reclosing; Figure 3 is section III-III of Figure 1; Figure 4 is section IV-IV of Figure 3; Figure 5 is a section similar to Figure 3, but with the ring in a lowered position to maintain the open configuration of the neck; Figure 6 is section VI-VI of Figure 5; Figure 7 is section VII-VII of Figure 3; Figure 8 is section VIII-VIII of Figure 5;
Figures 9 and 10 correspond, respectively, to Figures 7 and 8, in a version of the ring having an inner surface which is substantially prismatic; Figure 11 is an enlarged detail of one of the walls of the container neck similar to Figure 3 showing the manner in which the neck and the ring fit together to be coupled together. With reference to the drawings, the container 1 is obtained by a blow molding method in which two face-to-face plastic sheets are heated and sealed by pressure along a contour and inflation fluid is introduced between the sheets. In the container 1, the heat sealed contour constitutes the reinforcement 3 which provides rigidity. An upper zone of the heat seal, for example above the imaginary level 4 in the neck 2, is made sufficiently weak so that the ends 5 of the covers on the neck 2 can be detached by detachment. Below level 4, the seal is stronger so that it becomes significantly more difficult to detach the covers below level 4 by detachment. In addition, the ends of the neck 5 are partially separated from each other, at least at their end 5a upper so that they can be fastened more easily to detach the ends from each other.
The neck 2 of the container 1 cooperates with a ring 6, which can slide along the neck between a closed container position, which is shown, for example, in figures 1 and 3, and an open container position, which it is shown in figure 5. The ring 6 has a pair of diametrically opposed incisions 7, which act as guides for the ring 6 in the corresponding opposite areas of the reinforcement 3, particularly in those areas of the reinforcement 3 that can be detached. The profiles of the base surface of the incisions 7 converge towards the free end of the neck 2, and are coupled with the corresponding converging edges of the reinforcement 3, these edges have the form of closing teeth to provide gradual contact surfaces 8 which are they engage with the edges 9 of the base surfaces (Figure 11). The contact surfaces 8 consist of an upper pair which prevents the upward movement of the ring 6 from the position in figure 3 and a lower pair which prevents the upward movement thereof from the position of figure 5. As shown in Figure 4, the ring 6 can, particularly in the case of the neck 2 which is tapered upwards, at its lower edge 10 make contact with the external surface of the neck before the opening.
By pushing down the ring 6 from the position in figure 4 it presses the neck inward, at the edge 10. The inner surface of the ring 6 has a pair of opposite concave surfaces that diverge upwards, for example, in the form of sectors of a truncated cone 11
(figure 7), which accommodates zones of the external surface of the open neck 2, that is, when the ring 6 occupies its lower position. Alternatively, the opposing surfaces may consist of dihedrons 12 (FIGS. 9 and 10): in this case, in order to make it easier to accommodate the walls of the neck 2 in the ring, the fold lines provide preferential deformation and they provide longitudinally in these walls. With reference to Figure 11, the two operative positions of the ring 6 are shown, specifically the raised position, which corresponds to a closed container position, in which the neck is not deformed in the members 5 which are sealed together, or which they have been closed again with the application of the element 14 again, and the lowered or folded position, which is shown in dashed lines in figure 11, which corresponds to the elastically deformed open position of the neck 2. In the lowered or lowered position, the base surfaces of the pair of incisions 7 define a diameter of - II - neck 2 which is reduced by an amount Al with respect to when the neck is not deformed; this induces a deformation in the neck 2 with a corresponding increase in diameter in a meridian plane, i.e., a plane passing through the axis of the neck 2, orthogonal to the plane containing the incisions 7 with, consequently, the surfaces external parts of the neck 2 that deform to rest on the inner surfaces 11, 12 of the ring 6. The neck 12 can cooperate with a closing element 13 formed of a fork 14. As shown in figure 2, the closing element 13 it may be connected to the ring 6 by means of a connector element 15, which consists of a flexible strip, for example. It is noted that in relation to this date, the best method known by the applicant to carry out the aforementioned invention, is the conventional one for the manufacture of the objects to which it relates. Having described the invention as above, property is claimed as contained in the following:
