Abstract
The present invention refers to a machine for the manufacture of bottles formed by an axle that has assembled a transport disk and a press that are characterized in that the disc has assembled a plurality of preform holders disposed in a preferably circular and equidistant form, the disc describes a trajectory constant and equal to the axis on which it is mounted, said movement is transmitted by a gearmotor and sprocket system, the press is mounted to the shaft by means of three blocks with bearings and has a displacement (a) in the form of a fan or pivoting with respect to the axis independent of the twist ofthe latter, also the press has two systems of kneepads of levers that when moved by two pistons of fluid opens and closes their plates molds, in the lower part of the press has mounted a piston of fluid that makes center to the preforms with respect to the mold plates of the press and therefore to the mold cavity, the mecca nismo of the press carries coupled another piston of fluid that makes return to the press to the point of init
Description
Machine for the manufacture of Pet bottles.
BACKGROUND
At present the world manufacturers of machinery for the biorientado blown of Pet preforms, have developed very varied mechanisms for the production of bottles from said preforms. These mechanisms have as a general characteristic the use of a transportation system of preforms very independent to the press molds, which results in quite large structures that occupy large areas of the production plants. Another characteristic that the known designs present is that of interrupting the transfer of the preform conveyors during the brief span of the blowing of the same, which brings as a consequence the generation of dead times that affect the productivity of the machine.
In order to eliminate these and other disadvantages, I have developed the present machine, which is intended to protect by means of the present application, since it is a novel compact mechanism and simple construction that manages to reduce spaces and also takes advantage of maximum the time of transfer of the preforms, to do so uninterrupted and constant.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION.
The details of this novel system are clearly shown in the following description and the accompanying drawings.
Figure No. 1 is a plan view of the configuration of the machine.
Figure No. 2 is a side view showing the simple construction of the mechanism.
With reference to said figures, the mechanism is formed by pressing a preform transport disk (2) and a rotating shaft (3). The press is characterized by having a path (a) in the form of a fan and independent of the rotation of the conveyor disk, as can be seen in Figure No. 1
The disc (2) is assembled to the shaft (3) which is rotated by an electric motor drive system, endless gear reducer and catarinas transmitting movement to the disk. A plurality of preform holders (4) are assembled on the latter in which the Pet preforms are placed to be moved by the different stages of the blowing process.
In the lower part of the press, there is placed a fluid piston (5) which acts as a stop for the centering of the preforms (4) with respect to the mold (6). It is precisely this piston the main element that initiates the blow cycle of the preforms that is described below.
While the transport disk (2) rotates in the same direction as the axis (3), the mold (6) remains open. When the piston (5) is activated, the rod of this one interposes in the trajectory of the preforms (4) centering the cavity of the mold with the preform to be blown. Immediately afterwards, the press (1) closes and the mold traps the preform holder, causing the press to start its trajectory (a). It is during this trajectory where the process of stretching and blowing of the preform is carried out and at the end of it, the piston rod (5) returns to its initial position and the mold opens to free itself of the preforms with which the press suspends his trajectory (a). Finally, the fluid piston (7) is activated to return the press to the starting point of the cycle.
With the described system, the transportation of the preforms in the disk is continuous and without interruptions during the blowing process, which represents the elimination of dead times with respect to other known designs in which the press is fixed to a structure without movement some and when closing the mold the transfer of the preforms is interrupted during the time that the blowing of the bottle lasts.
Turning to the constructive description of the machine, in Fig. 2 the integral assembly of the press (1) the transporting disc (2) and the axis (3) is clearly shown. The press is composed of two mold plates (8) in which bronze bushings (9) are inserted, which slide on two upper columns (10) two central columns (11) and two lower columns (12). The movement of the mold plates (8) is carried out with the lever mechanisms in the bracket (13) which are actuated by two fluid pistons (14). It also has a fixed back plate (15) and another plate also fixed (16) where three blocks are mounted with bearings (17) that join the press with the shaft (3) and the disc (2).
All the previous mechanism offers simplicity in its construction and a maximum saving of space when integrating the press, the disk and the shaft in a single assembly. Other designs present different assembly systems that generally place the press and the preform conveyor in an isolated and independent way, which makes its construction very complicated and voluminous.
Claims (1)
