TOP FIXING ARTICLE CARRIER BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION This invention relates to an article carrier of the so-called upper fastening type, which is particularly, though not exclusively, suitable for holding together a plurality of bottles in the neck portions of the bottles in two or more rows. The upper holder carriers for the bottles are well known. For example, United States Patent No. No. 2,823,063 discloses a top coupling carrier, having a double fold, internal reinforcing division. One of the panels forming the division has a fin glued with adhesive extending from the lower wall and is attached to the upper wall of the carrier. U.S. Patent No. 4,318,476 discloses a top coupling carrier having the so-called advertising panel hanging from one of the side walls. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION One aspect of the present invention provides an article carrier for holding together a plurality of articles, such as bottles. The carrier comprises opposed upper and lower walls interconnected by lateral walls spaced apart to form a tubular structure. The lower wall includes a pair of panel portions forming the wall placed respectively to the side walls and placed adjacent to each other. The upper and lower walls each have a plurality of openings that receive the articles. The openings in the lower wall are in register with the openings in the upper wall.
