Abstract

The present invention is related to packaging materials for manufacturing transporting and storing containers, and more particularly refers to the design of a display container useful for several products, which is intended to provide a display container made of compacted cardboard useful for displaying a plurality of products. Said container is characterised in that it comprises an angle-shaped and L-type piece of compacted cardboard and a bottom panel, said piece is divided by folding lines into different or like sections simultaneously having a vertical wall and a horizontal wall which is closed at the end portion thereof so as to form a compartment, the vertical wall forming a retaining perimetral wall and the horizontal wall a perimetral box for supporting the bottom panel so as to house a plurality of products in the compartment.

Description

EXHIBITOR CONTAINER FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention is related to the packaging, containment, transportation, storage and display of articles contained within these same packages and specifically with the design of a display container of various products.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Currently the means of containment, transportation and display of various products are very diverse and very varied in terms of their forms, materials and methods of production. Within these means of exhibition we have to the boxes that are elaborated mainly of cardboard or of plastic materials In the state of the art have been addressed various means to contain and display various products, which, with their variants of materials, but mainly design allow the assembly of display cases resulting in structures mainly rectangular type formed by a base or bottom and 4 walls of which 2 of them can have a different length from the other two, and also their vertical walls form right angles, only varying the way in which said boxes are armed.

As an example of the above, we have Japanese patents 2004075172 A, 2001039433 A, 2000344233 A and European patent EP 0 328 509 A1.

These exhibitor case designs have the drawback of the large amount of material required for their manufacture. And in addition to being walls that serve to partially cover the product, it must also serve to give the exhibitor structural support so that it does not lose its shape.

In addition to that its assembly is complicated and requires some time and capacity of the owner so that from the template the finished product is reached.

OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION The main objective of the present invention is to provide an exhibit container formed from compacted cardboard, which allows the user to display various products.

Another objective of the invention is to allow the display container to be simple and to allow easy and intuitive assembly with little material.

Still another objective is that said display container formed from compacted cardboard is of high structural strength allowing to support the weight of the product to be exhibited without risk of said box being able to be broken or disarmed.

Another objective of the invention is to allow the recycling process of the material of the display container formed from compacted cardboard, not to be very complex, expensive or very polluting. And all those qualities and objectives that will become apparent when making a general and detailed description of the present invention supported by the illustrated modalities.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION In general, the display container, according to the present invention, consists of two parts, a frame formed by an angle of compacted cardboard and a bottom of paper or cardboard with some resistance.

The cardboard frame compacted in the form of an "L" type angle, is formed by the angle to which it has been divided by fold lines in at least three zones to form sections of equal or different lengths, formed by a vertical wall and a horizontal of the compacted cardboard angle with which the angle is produced.

The fold lines would go in the vertical face of the angle, and in the horizontal face triangular serves would be had in such a way that their edges, when folding in the horizontal plane to form the polygon, their edges get together.

In this way the vertical wall defines a retaining perimeter wall and the horizontal wall defines a perimeter support box of a bottom panel for holding in the cavity or compartment a plurality of products in a predetermined arrangement.

At one of the lateral ends, the angle has tabs which by means of adhesive can be fixed to the opposite lateral end to fix the shape of the polygon.

Optionally, in the bending zones, in the horizontal walls of the angle, a staple can be provided to maintain these elements that are more loaded, united.

In order to better understand the characteristics of the invention, the present description, as an integral part thereof, is accompanied by the drawings, which are illustrative but not limitative, which are described below.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES Figure 1 shows a front view of the piece of cardboard compacted in the form of an angle "L" type, prior to the formation of the display container, in accordance with the present invention.

Figure 2 shows a perspective view of the piece of cardboard compacted in the form of an angle "L" type, in the process of forming the display container, in accordance with the present invention.

Figure 3 shows a perspective view of the armed merchandising container, according to the present invention, from the cardboard piece compacted in the form of an "L" type angle shown in figures 1 and 2.

Figure 4 shows a perspective view of the armed merchandising container, containing a plurality of products in a predetermined arrangement.

For a better understanding of the invention, a detailed description will be made of some of the modalities thereof, shown in the drawings that are annexed to the present description for illustrative but not limitative purposes.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The characteristic details of the display container are clearly shown in the following description and in the accompanying illustrative drawings, the same reference signs serving to indicate the same parts.

Figure 1 shows a front view of the piece of compacted cardboard 2 in the form of an "L" type angle, prior to the formation of the display container 1 (not shown), in accordance with the present invention.

In said figure it is observed that said piece of compacted cardboard 2 in the form of an "L" type angle, is divided by bending lines 3 into at least three segments or equal or different sections formed by a vertical wall 4 and a horizontal one 5 that is it closes at its ends to generate a cavity or compartment 7, at the lower end of said fold lines 3 there is an angle kick 6 that allows the vertical walls 4 and horizontal 5 to approach, the vertical wall 4 defines a perimeter wall 4a of containment (not shown) and the horizontal wall 5 defines a perimeter support box 5a (not shown) of a bottom panel 8 for holding in the cavity or compartment 7 a plurality of products 9 in a predetermined arrangement.

With reference to Figure 2 which shows a perspective view of the piece of cardboard compacted in the form of an angle "L" type, in the process of forming the display container 1 (not shown) in accordance with the numbering of Figure 1 of the present invention, it indicates how the fold lines 3 present a weakening that allows the approach of the edges of the horizontal walls 5 that will lead to the formation of the support perimeter box 5a (not shown) to support the panel background 8 (not shown).

With reference to Figure 3, which shows a top perspective view of the display container 1 formed from the piece of cardboard compacted in the form of an "L" type angle, it can be seen that the fold lines 3 have been bent allowing the vertical walls 4 form an angle that can be straight, acute or obtuse and that define a perimeter wall of containment 4a and also allowing the angle kick 6 to close allowing the union of the horizontal walls 5, which define a perimeter support box 5a of a bottom panel 8 for holding in the cavity or compartment 7 a plurality of products 9.

Referring to Figure 4 illustrating a perspective view of the display container 1 once assembled, containing a plurality of products 9 in a predetermined array, from the piece of cardboard compacted in the form of an angle "L" type, it can be seen that the fold lines 3 have been bent allowing the delimitation of vertical walls 4 defining a perimeter retaining wall 4a and the formation of horizontal walls 5 (not shown), which define a perimeter support box 5a (not shown) that supports a bottom panel 8 for holding a plurality of products 9 in a predetermined arrangement in the cavity or compartment 7.

The invention has been described sufficiently so that a person with average skill in the art can reproduce and obtain the results mentioned in the present invention. However, any person skilled in the field of the art of the present invention may be able to make modifications not described in the present application, however, if for the application of these modifications in a de-terminated structure or in the process of manufacture thereof, the subject matter claimed in the following claims is required, said structures shall be included within the scope of the invention.

Claims (3)

R E I V I N D I C A C I O N S Having sufficiently described the invention, the content of the following claim clauses is claimed as property.

1. Display container, characterized in that said display container is formed by a compacted cardboard angle frame and a sheet of more or less rigid material; said frame is formed by said angle of compacted cardboard bent at a certain angle by vertical folding lines on the vertical face of the angle made along said angle; to avoid overlaps, when the angle is bent to form the frame, on the horizontal side, said angle comprises triangle-shaped sags in the area where the fold lines are located on the vertical face, said frame is then formed by the angle with as many bends as sides will have minus 1; and a sheet of more or less rigid material that sits inside the space that delimits the frame, on the horizontal side of the angles that form the frame; to maintain the closed frame a tongue is provided at the end of one of the ends of the angle to fix it by a fixing means to the end of the opposite end of the angle.

2. Display container, as claimed in the previous claim, characterized in that said frame can acquire the shape of a hexagon, a pentagon or any geometric surface.

3. Display container, as claimed in claim 1 or 2, characterized in that in the horizontal wall of the angle, in the area where the edges left by the triangular serve are joined, staples or any other fixing means can be placed. SUMMARY The present invention is related to packaging materials for the formation of containment, transport, storage and in specific containers with the design of a container exhibiting various products, which aims to provide an exhibiting container formed from compacted cardboard, which allows the user to display a plurality of products, which is characterized in that said display container is formed by a piece of cardboard compacted in the form of an angle "L" and by a bottom panel, said piece is divided by lines of folding in equal or different sections conformed by a vertical wall and a horizontal one that closes in its ends to generate a compartment, the vertical wall defines a perimeter wall of containment and the horizontal wall defines a perimeter box of support of the bottom panel to hold in the compartment a plurality of products.
