Abstract

The present invention refers to a process and to an equipment and machine, which allow the application of digital images to straps, webbings and belts of different kinds and sizes destined to different applications and is achieved in a way to provide the continuous transferring of digital images or a trace to straps, where the straps (1) are manufactured with an ordinary weave (2) or with an special weave to receive a bleaching treatment with an optical white, as well as pass by a thermo-fixation process that creates an alteration at the material properties, enabling, this way, various printings in high quality.

Description

PROCESS FOR THE APPLICATION OF A DIGITAL IMAGE IN TAPES, MACHINERY FOR SUCH APPLICATION AND TAPES OBTAINED The present invention relates to a process and a machinery that allows the application of digital images on tapes of different types and different purposes.
SCOPE The present invention relates to a process of applying a digital image on a ribbon made of synthetic material, which can be used for various purposes, such as: safety belts for automobiles, safety belts for work, safety belts of aircraft, pedestal belts for the organization of rows, among other uses.
STATE OF THE ART As is known to those authorized in this area, the tapes in general, used for the various purposes described above, do not allow the printing of digital images. For this reason, if the printing of an image or information on the tapes is necessary, printing is done by means of a sük screen or embroidered directly on the tapes. . These printing processes have some limitations, since they make it impossible to print images with digital or photographic quality, preventing their reproduction in a satisfactory way, and providing results much lower than what is desired in terms of quality and graphic resolution. Thus, with the development of new printing processes, a new process was developed that allows the transfer of digital, photographic and chromatic images for different types of materials; being that this process was defined as sublimation. In the process of sublimation, images with digital quality can be reproduced in various types of material, the image being printed with a type of transferable ink on a special transfer paper that, after printing is placed on the piece where you want to stamp the image, and that once properly heated and pressed on the piece, transfers the image indelibly, permanently and with excellent quality. However, the aforementioned process has some drawbacks, because due to its print quality, it does not allow a continuous production, and must be all the printing done piece by piece, by printing sheet (For example: soccer shirts) and always only on one side of the piece, which restricts its use in certain types of manufacturing material, especially in tapes.
OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION In accordance with the preceding explanation, this invention was developed that presents an innovative solution for the application of the sublimation process, in order to use it for the conformation of tapes / belts of different types and uses. With this scope, the main objective of the present invention is to present a process using a specific machinery enabling the continuous and serial printing of the tapes through sublimation, of different thicknesses and widths, produced in synthetic fabric (polyester, nylon, etc.), and used for the manufacture of safety belts for automobiles, safety belts for work, aircraft, pedestals for the formation of lines, etc. Another characteristic that should be highlighted is the fact that the present process and machinery allows the printing on both sides of the tapes, with only one procedure, facilitating and minimizing the production time. Another feature of the present invention is to present a belt / belt with digital images, chromáis, photographs, strokes, etc. from digital equipment on one or both sides, according to the needs and the use of the referred tape. Tapes / belts with these characteristics extend the scope of their use, with the possibility of assuming an advertising and propaganda aspect or new decorative aspects and even for the printing of safety items, previously adhered by means of sewing to the use belts common. For a better understanding of the present invention, a detailed description is presented below with references to the attached designs, where the: Figure 1 .- Contains a schematic design of the production process of the referred belt / belt with a digital image; Figure 2.- Contains a lateral design of the cutting device of the tapes; Figure 3.- It is a schematic perspective design of the detail A, shown in the previous figure, which deals with the device for aligning the cutting knives of the ribbon coil; Figure 4.- It contains a schematic design in lateral cut of the tape printing machine; Figure 5.- It is a schematic perspective design illustrating the detail B, of the previous figure, highlighting the alignment device of the belt / belt in the printing machine, and a; Figure 6.- It is a digitized image of a tape / belt with the appropriate image applied. According to these illustrations of its details, the present process for the application of a digital image on tapes, machinery for such application and the tapes obtained, is carried out in such a way as to provide the continuous application of digital images or of a stroke in a tape / belt, where the belts (1) are produced with the common weft (2) or with a special weft, to receive a tment with optical brightener, as well as, to go through a thermo-fixing process that ces an alteration in the properties of the material, thus enabling various high quality prints. The raw material of the belts (1), after being properly ted, is wound into coils of specific sizes to allow the continuous digital transfer of the images, and up to 10 coils can be used at the same time. The present process provides a cutting machine (4), in which a roll of paper (3) with the digital images that are to be transferred for the tapes is placed. In this machine (4), the aly printed paper roll (3) is mounted near the entrance sector (5), the paper being unrolled on a flat table (6), on which a cutting head is mounted ( 7) laterally movable, in which a series of vertical knives (8) are attached. That cutting head (7) has on one of its extremities two optical sensors (9), which identify a line printed on the paper (10), of a specific color. The said sensors (9) are connected to a computerized central unit (11), which coordinates the displacement of the cutting head (7), being able to move it in any position, being possible the displacement of said line (10), thus avoiding, any difference in the paper cut, always obeying a pre-established safety margin on each of its sides. After cutting, the paper forms coils (12), which are placed in the printing machine (13), together with the coils of the ribbon with synthetic material (14). In the step of printing the ribbon (1), it can be printed on both sides simultaneously, by means of the use of two rolls of paper for each roll of ribbon. In the mentioned input sector (15) of the printing machine (13), alignment devices (16) were provided, which have a specific format to allow the passage of the papers (12 and 12 ') and the ribbon (1) , aligning the same ones for the entrance in the machine (13). After its transit through the alignment device (16), the paper (12 and 12 ') and the tape (1) are properly aligned following the inside of the printing machine (13), which transfers the images of the paper, by means of sublimation, for the tape (1). Inside the machine (13), there are two calender cylinders (17), one for each side of the belt (1), in such a way as to present perfectly symmetrical designs on both sides, and to achieve this, between the cylinders (17) there is a device for temperature maintenance (18), which maintains the temperature of the belt (1) during its transit from one cylinder to the other, in order to maximize the printing process, avoiding that the contraction of the material is greater on one side than on the other. On the back of said machine (13), the papers (12 and 12 ') already used, are again wound on coils (19 and 19') that will be discarded, and the ribbon (1), already printed on both sides , it is properly coiled in another coil (20). During the printing process, as the web of the tape (1) undergoes a certain retraction, its rolls have appropriate dimensions so that they have the desired measurements at the end of the mentioned procedure. In this way, at the end of the process, rolls (20) are obtained with the printed tapes, which are duly cut into the desired length measurements through an ultra-sound cutting machine (21), which cuts the tapes (1) lengthwise, forming small rolls (22), leaving them ready to be assembled, with digital quality images, being able to be used as advertising propagating elements or only for decorative purposes, also enabling the printing of security norms or the identification of the product itself
