Abstract

The present invention comprises a process for treating wastewater from housing, slaughterhouses or other sources of polluted water. The process includes diverse stages such as: homogenisation, solid separation, sedimentation, and filtration by means of a zeolitic layer. The process further uses different polymers in order to facilitate the separation of liquids and total solids suspended in water. Treated water and muds useful as fertilizers in agriculture are obtained from the final phase of the process.
