Abstract
Sistemas y metodos para proveer un dispositivo controlador de carga, tal como una balastra DALI, que tiene un receptor infrarrojo. El dispositivo controlador de carga reside en un enlace de comunicacion digital y recibe comandos infrarrojos a traves de un conductor luminoso. Los comandos son entradas para un microprocesador, para regular una referencia del dispositivo controlador de carga. Referenciar el dispositivo controlador de carga de esta manera permite que se referencien multiples dispositivos de control que residen en un solo enlace de comunicacion, mediante la misma referencia corta. Se pueden retirar y reemplazar los dispositivos de control y las asignaciones de referencia y de zona de los dispositivos retirados puede ser reasignadas a los dispositivos de reemplazo por medio de comunicacion infrarroja.
