Abstract
Un sistema proporciona seguridad mejorada en un decodificador de medios de flujo incluye la desencriptacion de informacion de medios codificada en la capa de medios, dentro de un componente de decodificador de un dispositivo 100 de reproduccion. Una fuente de contenido, tal como un flujo de medio de MPEG-4 proveniente de una red, o un archivo en un dispositivo de almacenamiento local, etc. que contiene contenido empaquetado, y suministra informacion 110 de medios encriptada y codificada. Un componente 120 de reensamblador se utiliza para iniciar la desencriptacion de una cantidad nominal de informacion necesaria para ejecutar el procesamiento adicional en el reproductor QuickTime. En una modalidad preferida, se utiliza un sistema de administracion de derechos de Protocolo de Internet (IPRM) para ejecutar el procesamiento de desencriptacion. El reensamblador 120 hace solicitudes del proceso 150 de IPRM para abrir una sesion de desencriptacion y desencripta paquetes seleccionados para identificar el tamano de reproduccion de ventana. El decodificador 140 realiza solicitudes del proceso 150 de IPRM para desencriptar las unidades de acceso en la misma sesion de desencriptacion y para cerrar la sesion de desencriptacion. Debido a que el contenido se encripta en los limites del paquete, y cuando es llamado por el decodificador 140, el componente 150 de IPRM debe recrear los limites de paquete derivados de la unidad de acceso antes de que sea posible la desencriptacion.
