Abstract
The present invention describes a masculine genital device having an adjustable constriction useful for provoking or enhancing the penis erection, the device particularly including mechanisms for allowing a double constriction of both the penis and the scrotum to be performed. The aforementioned device is mainly formed by a substantially flexible strand (1) including compressing adjusting means that are partially (4,5) or completely slid (6) and located over the strand (1), said adjusting means are useful for providing and maintaining the penis and the scrotum in a suitable posture after being placed and suitably adjusted to the sexual organ. The abovementioned adjusting elements also act as a means for safely fastening the device which will therefore comfortably remain in the accurate place regardless of the organ manipulation performed by either the couple or the user himself during a sexual relation.
Description
Assistant device of double constriction for penile erection as auxiliary in the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
Field of the invention. The present invention relates to auxiliary devices for erectile dysfunction, which allow to achieve or maintain erections. Specifically to adjustable male constriction genital devices aimed at causing or enhancing the erection of the penis, particularly equipped with mechanisms that allow a simultaneous double constriction of the penis and the scrotal sac.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Sexual contact between human beings is a daily activity that can seriously affect the physical and mental health condition of adult individuals. The quality with which it is carried out is a very important factor to consider in order to maintain an adequate balance in the sexual relationship and that this can proceed in a normal and optimal way. However, when these conditions are altered, it can generate conditions for erectile dysfunction to occur. Erectile dysfunction among the male population is a problem that occurs frequently.
Impotence, which is one of the manifestations of erectile dysfunction, can result from the imbalance of several physiological or psychological conditions that cause the flow of blood in and out of the penis, to remain substantially in balance, in such a way that they prevent Adequate retention of blood in the penis, which is necessary to induce and maintain for an erection to occur. Impotence can also be a side effect of the administration of various therapeutic substances, or it can be associated with several diseases, including diabetes, multiple sclerosis and sickle cell disease, for example. The impotence that results from these causes can be exacerbated by additional factors such as smoking, a poor diet, or the like, or by the social rejection that can result from sexual contact in these conditions.
An erection that occurs naturally is generated basically by conditions of stimulation of the environment perceived by the person. At the moment of experiencing the sexual desire originated by stimuli of visual, mental or tactile order (direct excitation), a reaction originates in the circulatory system, channeling blood to the genital area and pumping it towards the corpora cavernosa (erectile tissue) of the penis, at a pressure slightly higher than the normal pressure (between 122 and 130 mmHg) that is retained in the penis when the genital system is closed allowing the admission and escape of blood located at the entrance of the corpora cavernosa, as well as the constriction and blockage of the venous system that is between the corpora cavernosa and the tunica albuginea that surrounds these bodies. This process produces the erection of the penis, which may be smaller or greater in direct proportion to the stimulus received. The genital and venous systems are highly susceptible to brain impulses. In cases where blood is required elsewhere in the body when an erection is in progress, these systems will allow blood to escape from the corpora cavernosa of the penis and as a result, the erection will be lost.
Physiologically, impotence occurs when the blood flow to the penis is not adequate. The flow of blood does not exert enough pressure in the cavities to restrict the veins. An erection can not be achieved at all or is lost before the copulation can be completed. Also, the maintenance of an erection over time is directly related to the time that the blood remains resident in the corpora cavernosa of the penis, and that it exerts the necessary pressure inside the organ to prevent its return to the body outside the penis.
Based on the above, multiple solutions have been proposed to date in order to treat or remedy erectile dysfunction in any of its modalities, either as impotence, premature ejaculation or weakness in the maintenance of a quality erection. In this sense, the solutions that have been applied to solve this problem have basically been of two types, those that need to invade the sexual tissue and those in which it is not necessary to do so.
Invasive solutions may offer better results, depending on the degree of importance of erectile dysfunction and the patient's condition. As representative examples of these solutions, surgical interventions in the sexual organ can be mentioned with the purpose of placing artificial prostheses1'2,3, or implantable devices4,5. In these cases, the user can manipulate the penis to the correct attitude for all the necessary functions, such as urinating, or for an artificial erection.
Such solutions are often uncomfortable, can not be applied in all cases, and when surgery is required, they become expensive and generate surgical complications.
Other solutions are based on the application of substances that stimulate the erection at various levels. For example, there are substances that claim to cause erections, which are administered directly to the penis by injection6 or orally, such as Viagra. These solutions can be expensive, cause unwanted physiological side effects, and are not effective for some men who, even when their limbs become thickened, may also not have the transverse rigidity necessary for intercourse. Likewise, not all patients are willing to administer these substances directly to the penis, which limits its application.
In the case of non-invasive solutions, devices have been proposed that stimulate the erection by applying forces of a certain magnitude in the penis generated by means of a vacuum.7.8.9. "L0.11.12.13.14? Electrical stimulation15, light stimulation16 or friction17 However, these devices are expensive and their operation becomes complicated at the time of sexual intercourse.
On the other hand are known devices that work by providing constriction to the sexual organ, basically by applying pressure on certain parts of the organ, in order to stimulate the entry of blood to the penis and prevent its exit. In this sense, devices that provide constriction only in the penis are widely known, those that are not adjustable to the size of the organ1 of 19.20, as those that have means of adjustment but that become rigid in their structure21,22, 23'24'25,26,27, as well as condoms with means of constriction basically at the base of the penis28,29.
Although these devices, as well as other types of constriction devices or with means for securing the organ, are capable of restricting the flow of blood from the penis, these devices have various disadvantages in the treatment or prevention of erectile faults. A common disadvantage is the lack of means to adequately adjust the constrictive tension, making it difficult or impossible to control the degree of restriction of the exit of blood from the penis necessary to prevent erectile failure. The limited restriction can prevent such devices from maintaining an erection, and too much restriction can lead to discomfort, numbness and insensitivity of the user, even damaging the fine penile tissue if left in it for a long time.
On the other hand, the constriction devices that have means of adjustment, do not provide the exact and necessary adjustment depending on the size characteristics of the sexual organ of the user, with which said devices are limited in their use.
Due to the above, it is still important to have simple and inexpensive effective noninvasive solutions that are useful to treat or prevent erection failures or for the stimulation of the penile erection, that have adequate means of adjustment and provide the necessary constriction to the male sexual organ. On the other hand, those solutions that provide comfort in their use and placement and that does not intervene negatively in the sensory functions of the penis are desirable.
Objectives of the invention. Therefore, it is one of the objects of the present invention to provide an improved and low cost constriction device that allows the user to efficiently and comfortably achieve a longer lasting penile erection.
Another object of the invention is to provide a device for simultaneous double constriction, both of the root of the penis and of the scrotal sac, in such a way as to restrict the return flow of blood from the penis to the body during erection; and that has at the same time with adequate, simple and safe means of adjustment.
It is another object of the invention to provide a device having easy adjustment means for the user so that said device can adjust to the size of his own penis and scrotum comfortably.
It is also an object of the invention to provide a device that has easy means for the user to control the degree of constriction made by the device in his penis and scrotum so that there is comfort and does not intervene in the ejaculation and sensory function penile
It is also an object of the invention to provide a device having simple and secure fastening means for the user to easily place the device in his penis and scrotal sac.

It shows its placement in the penis root (A), insertion of the semi-sliding compressor bodies in the cord (B), the constriction of the root of the penis (C), the frontal placement of the loop in the scrotum (D). ), the insertion and securing of the semi-sliding compressor body in the cord (E) and the pubic stimulation (F).
Detailed description of the invention. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a device that serves to maintain the penis in upright conditions, by confining the blood in the penis, preventing its flow with respect to the trunk of the body through the application of forces provided by a tourniquet at the base of the penis and simultaneously in the scrotal sac.
The device of the invention is formed of a simple structure that allows to achieve, with the least number of elements, a simultaneous double constriction in the root of the penis and in the scrotal sac, with which it is achieved that the agglomeration of blood in the penis and in the testicles is more efficient.
With the device of the invention it is possible to maintain a penis in upright conditions, with the great advantage that it has means fully adjustable to the specific anatomy of the user, since it is feasible to adjust precisely to their sexual organs. The size of the penis and the testicles of the user, are not at all a limiting feature for the operation of the device, so the device can be used by any man who wants it.
Due to the structure of the device, it is placed around the sexual organ completely to provide a convenient degree of constriction to stimulate and maintain an erection for a longer time. Likewise, the device is made with materials that make it comfortable in its application.
The device basically consists of a highly flexible cord (1) provided with semi-sliding (4, 5) and sliding (6) adjustment means on the cord (1), which allow to provide adequate constriction to the penis and the scrotal sac after its placement and proper adjustment to the organ (see figures 1 and 2). Likewise, the adjustment means work simultaneously as means of secure attachment of the device, so that the device remains in place comfortably, independently of the manipulation that is made of the organ either by the partner or by the user himself during sexual intercourse
As can be seen in Figure 2, the device is arranged in such a way as to form a loop extending around the root of the penis (behind the scotch) and the scrotal sac at the same time, as well as precise adjustment means and Secure holding.
• The device of the invention operates on the principle of preventing or slowing the inflow and outflow of blood from the penis once the penis is in upright conditions. This is achieved by applying a pressure through a tourniquet attached to the organ, as comfortably as desired, by means of the thick cord (1) placed at the root of the penis (behind the scrotum and covering the base of the penis) and surrounding the sac with the scrotum. free end of the cord after the first adjustment and constriction at the root of the penis. The surrounded scrotal sac is also constricted by the adjustment elements present in the cord. The device tends to push the scrotum and testes forward and therefore tends to keep the penis in an attitude perpendicular to the trunk; At the same time, the device is not uncomfortable for the couple at the time of penetration.
The adjustment means of the device allow the user to easily vary the degree of penile constriction for a comfortable use and, at the same time, to release the sexual organ in a simple manner. Likewise, the adjusting means at all times are kept away from the user's skin, whereby only the thick cord (1) is the only part of the device that comes into direct contact with the organ.
The materials of the device of the invention, to which the skin is not allergic, are soft to the touch, flexible and washable, making the device reusable on multiple occasions. Likewise its simple structure makes it extremely portable and discreetly transportable. The simplicity and efficiency of the device, as well as the ease in its placement, make it a reliable device of general application among the male population.
For use, the device provides constriction by means of adjustment to provide a constant pressure on the root of the penis and around the testicles.
With the placement of the device, this is maintained in its tensioned adjustment by the adjustment means; in this way the device provides a double, radial, uniform compressive force in the penis and scrotum, of sufficient magnitude to limit the exit of blood from the penis and the scrotal sac during the erectile process without substantially obstructing the blood flow. As long as the penis remains erect, the device can be tightened or loosen later as necessary to reach and / or to maintain the erection and comfort that is necessary.
Despite the fact that constrictor devices have been described that can provide constriction in the penis and testicles at the same time, compared to the device of the invention they present a series of disadvantages.
Mclntire30, describes a therapeutic device as an aid to maintain the erect position of the penis consisting of two bands joined together by the end of one and the middle part of the other, which are adjustable to the sexual organ by means of clips as clamping devices , with the intention of providing constriction around the base of the penis and scrotum. Nevertheless, said device does not provide an effective and custom fit for different people who possess a wide variety of different sizes of penis and scrotum. Also part of the material of the clips attached to the bands of the device, they come into contact at all times with the penis and scrotum, which is quite uncomfortable for the patient due to the friction they cause on the organ and that can be increased at the moment of penetration during the sexual act. Likewise the flat shape of the bands that constrict and hold the sexual organ causes discomfort, since the songs of these come into contact with part of the body of the couple, including their sexual organs. On the other hand, the hardness of the material with which it is manufactured is uncomfortable for the user's organ, which can result in an important distraction during sexual intercourse.
Swanson31 describes an elastic band that is placed on the penis and on both sides of the testicles; however, the band passes between the legs and is inserted through holes in an adjustable belt worn by the user. Although the device is adjustable and placed on the penis and around the testicles, the operation of the device is not described; On the other hand, the multiple elements that make it make the device is not easy to use and is not portable by the user, making its use and operation more complex.
Place32 describes a device that allows to control the venous flow of blood in the penis in order to maintain a penile erection. The device consists of a flexible tube adapted to ensure a circular configuration around the penis, providing a radial constriction force to the base of the penis through an adjustable balloon and ring configuration. Although the device can also be placed around the scrotum, the device does not have means to be placed simultaneously on the penis and the scrotal sac and is not able to constrict them together in a single operation. On the other hand, the material from which the flexible tube is made is uncomfortable for its use, since at the moment of stretching it to adjust it to the appropriate size of the sexual organs, the surface of the tube that comes into contact with the organ is reduced; this greatly increases the pressure of the device in a very small area of the penis or scrotum, causing great discomfort and great friction if the device comes to move suddenly during sexual intercourse. On the other hand, the release of the device from the sexual organs is not simple and immediate, since the material of the flexible tube interacts in an important way with the epithelium; due to this the user must be careful not to move the device suddenly, since it could drag part of the skin of the organ with it, causing important injuries to it.
Northcutt33 describes a male sexual aids device that surrounds the base of the penis, basically consisting of a ring or a set of rings that can be used together in various conformations. Said rings are provided with adjustment means that allow the user to vary the opening of the ring hole, according to the desired size. However, the device described does not provide an adjustment to the user's measurement and is not intended to perform a simultaneous constriction of the penis and the scrotal sac.
Werner34 and Gavrilovich35 describe devices that potentiate and sustain a penile erection in men suffering from erectile dysfunction. The devices consist of a band that has Sailboat ends as a means of adjustment, which is easy to place and adapt to different sized penises. Despite the fact that the devices are simple, of adequate adjustment and of low cost, they are not able to provide a double constriction simultaneously in the penis and the scrotal sac. Also the shape of the band
(flat and with ridges) can cause discomfort in the couple at the time of penetration during sexual intercourse.
Various devices have been described consisting of bands with different means of adjustment and attachment to the penis, for example using gold bands to press the urogenital channel at the base of the penis36, containing vibrators to stimulate erection37 or using various means of adjustment for a quick release of the device using adapted hooks38. However, none of them has the means to constrict the scrotal sac of the user and can be uncomfortable due to the type of material with which they are manufactured.
Specifically, the device of the invention is shown in Figure 1. As can be seen, in one of the preferred embodiments of the invention (A), the device is constituted by two cords (2, 3) interlaced with each other, one in front of the other, which have each been subjected to a torsion process. Each of the treated strings intertwines with the other with a certain degree of torsion, in such a way that they form a single thicker cord (1). To conserve the interlacing of the treated strings, the interlaced strings are permanently attached to each other by a knot located at each of their ends (8, 9). The degree of torsion of each of the strings, as well as the interaction that is achieved between them through the interlacing, allows to obtain such a mechanical interaction between its elements, that the device manages to retain the shape of a thick rope (1). Although the user tries to dismantle the interlock of the device, it always returns to its normal position, so the device always keeps its shape.
Likewise, the device contains three compressor bodies (4, 5, 6) with a central hole
(10, 11), which are inserted in the thick cord (1). Said compressor bodies are placed in the device passing through their central holes (10,
11), the thick rope (1) formed by the interlaced ropes (2, 3). Two of the compressor bodies (4, 5) inserted in the cord (1) are the same size and are placed as shown in Figure 1, one of them (5) at one end of the thick cord
(1) and the other (4) in the middle part of the cord. These compressor bodies of dimensions
'identical' (4, 5), they can move through the whole thick cord (1) almost freely, because the size of their central holes (11) are at most 50% of the thickness size of the thick cord (1) under normal conditions, preferably from 35 to 50%; this causes a compression effect of said bodies on the thick cord, making them semi-sliding. This mechanical effect of compression, allows these bodies to constrict the thick cord (1) adequately, limiting its free movement along it; in this way, it is only possible to move these compressor bodies through the thick cord by means of a suitable displacement force that can only be applied with the hands of the user. This feature prevents said compressor bodies (4, 5) from freely moving themselves along the cord, which is very useful for the purposes of the device of the present invention. These compressor bodies (4, 5) allow the exact and desired adjustment of the device around the penis and the scrotum, while providing the necessary constriction to maintain or stimulate the erection. Likewise, said compressor bodies (4, 5) are kept in the place determined by the user since they do not move along the cord (1) due to the movement that the body or the sexual organ may have at the time of sexual intercourse or the sexual relationship. This achieves an exact fit and conforms to the anatomy of the sexual organ of the user, while allowing only the constriction that is necessary to maintain the erection.
The third compressor body (6) containing the device, is provided with a central hole (10) that has twice the dimensions of the central hole (11) of the previous compressor bodies (4, 5) and which is located in the opposite end of the thick cord (1) where these are located. Preferably the size of the central hole (10) of this compressor body (6) reaches a maximum of 90% of the thickness size of the thick cord (1) under normal conditions, preferably 80 to 90%.
Due to its dimensions, this compressor body can move freely through the thick cord (1), making it slippery, which allows it to be used as a closing point to hold the device around the sexual organ; at the same time, the size of the central hole (10) allows to apply a small constriction force around the thick cord (1), in such a way that it allows the free movement of the compressor body (6) by the cord (1), but prevents its displacement by itself without manipulation of the user.
In another of the preferred embodiments of the invention (see Figure 1 C), the device is provided with two compressor bodies (4, 6), one of them semi-sliding (4) and the other sliding (6) with the above characteristics described and of a knot (7) made in the middle part of the cord (1). In this case the central node (7) serves as a means of securing the first constriction of the genitals, leaving the second constriction as optional. This modality of the device is equally effective to the previously described modality, since it is placed on the genitals in the same way.
Although various materials for the manufacture of the device of the invention can be used to achieve the effect described above for the case of the thick cord (1), it is preferred to use polymers that are sufficiently flexible and resistant to withstand the stress of crosslinking of the cord, and that they can return to their original form. On the other hand, polymeric materials that provide sufficient friction to the friction with the surface of the compressor bodies (4, 5, 6) are desirable to avoid unnecessary displacement and that at the same time are soft, comfortable and non-allergenic to the skin of the body. sexual organ of the user. For purposes of the present invention, polymers containing significant amounts of nylon are the most suitable, preferably those in which the nylon is at least 70% in its composition. For the case of the semi-sliding (4, 5) and sliding (6) compressor bodies, these can be of different shapes and textures, being the most suitable those that are comfortable and pleasant to the touch, being the smooth textures and the forms rounded those that are preferred, even those that have the form of accounts. In this case, it is preferred that the central holes (10, 11) of the compressor bodies (4, 5, 6) be circular, forming a tunnel through the compressor body, although other shapes that allow achieving the semi-sliding and sliding effect described above, can be used. The materials for manufacturing these compressor bodies can be diverse, although those that allow firmness of the compressor body are preferred, wood being the preferred material.
The device of the invention, unlike those known to date, allows to provide the male sexual organ with a double simultaneous constriction, in the penis and in the scrotal sac in a single device without the need to use different bands joined together, as in the case of the device described by Mclntire30. On the other hand, the device has adjustment means (semi-sliding and sliding compressor bodies) (4, 5, 6) that allow to give different ranges in size for both constrictions, allowing any male person to use it, independently of the size of your sexual organs.
The device of the invention is effective against various types of erectile dysfunction, for example those caused by vascular, endocrine and neurological dysfunctions.
The device of the invention produces a temporary stenosis in the blood conduits that feed the cavernous bodies of the penis, by gradual constriction thereof; This causes an increase in pressure, similar to what happens in a coronary stenosis. Because the blood pressure of return of the corpora cavernosa is much lower (between 7 to 9 mmHg), it is relatively easy to store blood in the corpora cavernosa, achieving different degrees of erection.
Once the sufficient quantity of blood is contained in the corpora cavernosa, by means of the device described, the stenosis is increased by constriction of the veins that converge in the sexual organ and that allow the entry and exit of the blood, with which it is contained within of the penis and the testicles. This double and simultaneous constriction provided by the device of the invention causes an improved effect in the maintenance and generation of the erection, in comparison with devices that only constrict the penis.
As an embodiment of the invention, the extra blood that is stored in the pubic area can be stimulated to enter the stenosed ducts of the sexual organ, by means of manual pressure directly exerted on the pubis (see figure 2F), which is very higher than the normal pressure of the circulatory system.
The device described allows a degree of firm constriction of the sexual organ (determined by the user), having as a limit the degree of elasticity of the material with which the cord is manufactured, thus avoiding reaching degrees of discomfort, discomfort or pain.
The device of the invention can be used as described in figure 2. As can be seen (see figure 2A), the device is held at its ends with the hands by the index finger and thumb of each hand, verifying that the compressor body sliding (6), stay in the right hand and the semi-sliding compressor bodies (4, 5) in the left hand. Then the cord (1) is stretched a little and placed behind the testicles, raising both hands so that the device takes the form of a loop around the root of the penis. The two semi-sliding compressor bodies (4, 5) that are in the left hand, are inserted inside the thick cord (1), between the two treated cords (2, 3) interlaced with each other and just below the compressor body sliding (6) (see figure 2B). With the right hand, take the testicles and stretch forward, taking care that no part of the scrotum is trapped behind the loop. The semi-sliding compressor bodies (4, 5) inserted in the cord (1), are taken with one hand and pulled downwards, with which the cord is stretched making the effect of a sliding knot (see figure 2C), helped by the sliding compressor body (6). Upon achieving this position, the necessary force is exerted on the semi-sliding compressor body (4) closest to the scrotum so that it moves on the cord (1), until reaching a position adjacent to the sliding compressor body (6); this causes the semi-sliding compressor body (4) to exert the desired constriction at the base of the penis and that it be retained for as long as the device of the invention is placed, since the semi-sliding compressor body does not change position and does not move on the cord. At this point, the semi-sliding compressor body (4) can be moved as far as necessary to achieve the desired constriction at the root of the penis. After placing the device in this first position of constriction, the penis can be stimulated with rhythmic masturbation movements to obtain a firmness and acceptable size, which stimulates the entry of blood to the penis with a higher pressure, since the device reduces the diameter of the blood channels that supply the corpora cavernosa (erectile tissue of the penis). With the device placed in this way (see figure 2D), the excess loop (12) is taken at the end and with a movement to the left, the upper front part of the testicles is surrounded by pulling the loop down until the sliding compressor body (6) at the other end. Once the other end of the lacing has been found, the remaining semi-sliding compressor body (5) is inserted inside the thick cord (1), between the two treated cords (2, 3) interlaced with each other, whereby the compressor body Semi-sliding (5) is in proper position to adjust according to the size of the scrotal sac, thus achieving the second constriction of the device (see Figure 2E). Finally placed the device of the invention, can occupy the thumbs of both hands, to oppress the accumulation of blood from the pubis (located just above the top of the root of the penis), making firm pressure with both hands, in order to pumping to the inside of the penis, the blood accumulated in the pubic area (see figure 2F).
As can be seen, the placement of the device is simple and allows to make the necessary adjustments to adapt to the size of the sexual organs of the user, achieving a simultaneous double constriction in a comfortable and safe way.
Unlike other effective sexual stimulation products that require a holding bar to take effect, the device of the invention can be used at any time to generate or maintain an erection.
The device can be used in conjunction with lubricating substances or other types of creams used during sex; likewise its operation does not interfere with the use of commonly used pharmacological substances that allow the erection.
The maintenance of the described device is very simple, since it is enough to apply conventional cleaning methods that do not interfere in the integrity of the material with which it is manufactured.
The erection achieved with the device of the invention does not fade due to situations of distraction that may occur during sexual intercourse, since the double constriction that it provides prevents the significant outflow of blood that may occur at those times, with the consequent detriment of the erection Likewise, the effectiveness of the device considerably improves the mental safety of the user due to the improvement in their sexual performance, a situation that contributes to the suppression or delay of premature ejaculation. On the other hand, the appearance of the orgasm using the described device does not have a significant negative effect on the erection achieved, since the maintenance of the erection depends on the constriction generated by the device, with which the resulting erection allows the user keep functioning.
The device described works effectively for people with impotence, with various degrees of erectile dysfunction, or in normal people. In the latter case, the device described stimulates erections favorably stimulating the growth of the penis in terms of length and caliber.
