Abstract

La presente invencion se relaciona con un proceso de adsorcion selectiva de compuestos nitrogenados y azufrados contenidos en diferentes fracciones de hidrocarburos del petroleo. El material solido utilizado como adsorbente consiste de un material nanoestructurado que presenta morfologia de nanofibras y/o nanotubos de un oxido inorganico de un metal del grupo IVB con alta area especifica comprendida entre 100 y 600 m2/g. El material adsorbente objeto de la presente invencion puede ser o no promovido con un metal de transicion, y puede adsorber selectivamente compuestos de nitrogeno exclusivamente, o simultaneamente compuestos de nitrogeno y azufre.
