Abstract

La invencion se relaciona con un metodo para producir una instalacion para la generacion de energia electrica mediante energia hidraulica y un metodo para convertir una presa, conforme a la cual se fabrican al menos dos unidades (2) generadoras de turbina que consisten de una turbina y un generador conectado a esta, en un sitio a distancia. Igualmente, en un sitio de fabricacion a distancia, al menos dos unidades (2) de turbina y generador, juntos, se unen para formar al menos un modulo (1) que consiste de al menos dos unidades (2) de turbina y generador. Al menos un modulo (1) se transporta por un medio de transporte, preferentemente una embarcacion, desde el sitio de fabricacion a traves de una distancia al sitio de la instalacion, y en el sitio de instalacion se emplea un dispositivo (4) de levantamiento para levantar el como minimo un modulo (1) del medio de transporte, en donde se coloca en una posicion provista para su operacion. Esta combinacion de caracteristicas da como resultado, empleando el concepto de un diseno de unidades electromecanicas altamente modular, una solucion optima tecnica y economicamente, capaz de competir con otras fuentes de energia.
