Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un aparato para la lectura de contenidos que unicamente permite el uso de contenidos tales como imagenes, musica, y similares, dentro de un periodo de uso permitido. En un medio de registro que tiene una funcion de autenticacion, los datos seguros incluyen una clave de descifrado y un periodo de uso restante, son registrados en una area protegida, y un contenido cifrado que corresponde a los datos seguros, es registrado en un area del usuario. El descifrado del contenido cifrado, por una unidad de descifrado, y la salida del contenido descifrado, por una unidad de salida, hacia un usuario, es permitido unicamente por la duracion en la que la unidad de juicio de derechos de uso juzgue que el periodo de uso restante es mayor que cero.
