Abstract
Un metodo de evaluacion en el cual un sensor capacitivo (5) es colocado en una region de un contenedor (3), dentro del cual un material granular (2) es alimentado para quedar en contacto con el sensor (5), y se evalua la variacion en la impedancia del sensor (5) causada al alimentar el material (2). El metodo es particularmente util para evaluar la compacidad de la arena en un encofrado para producir piezas metalicas coladas. El sistema de evaluacion incluye un sensor (5) definido por placas (9, 10) sensibles a la variacion en el dielectrico; y un circuito de control y acondicionamiento (6) para indicar la variacion en la capacitancia de las placas (9, 10), o mas generalmente, las impedancias totales del sistema (1), cuando el material granular (2) es alimentado dentro del contenedor (3). En una modalidad, las placas (9, 10) del sensor (5) son determinadas por dos peines hechos de material conductor y que tienen dos numeros de segmentos entrelazados (12, 13) y localizados sobre un soporte (16) flexible o rigido.
