Abstract

De acuerdo con aspectos de la presente invencion, se provee una preforma de carton para empaque de una sola pieza que tiene un panel inferior con un borde lateral, un borde de extremo y un borde de esquina truncado que se extiende entre el borde lateral y el borde de esquina; un panel lateral esta unido de manera articulada al panel inferior a lo largo del borde lateral; un borde adyacente del panel lateral es un borde de extremo del panel lateral; un ensamble de lengueta de apilamiento de esquina interna es unido de manera articulada al panel lateral en el borde de extremo del panel lateral a lo largo de una primera linea de doblez; el ensamble de lengueta de apilamiento de esquina interna incluye una pluralidad de segmentos conectados de manera articulada en una segunda linea de doblez y una tercera linea de doblez; una lengueta se extiende desde un borde del ensamble de lengueta de apilamiento de esquina interna; la lengueta esta colocada sustancialmente transversal a la tercera linea de doblez.
