Abstract

Un aparato para codificar que incluye una seccion de codificacion de banda de ganancia para calcular una amplitud promedio de una corriente de espectro de frecuencia que corresponde a cada una de una pluralidad de bandas de frecuencia para generar un primer codigo que representa la amplitud promedio de la corriente de espectro de frecuencia; una seccion de determinacion de banda de codificacion para determinar por lo menos una banda de frecuencia, para la cual la corriente de espectro de frecuencia correspondiente debe ser cuantizada y codificada de entre la pluralidad de bandas de frecuencia; una seccion de codificacion de espectro para cuantizar y codificar la corriente de espectro de frecuencia de cada una de la por lo menos una banda de frecuencia determinada por la seccion de determinacion de banda de codificacion para generar un segundo codigo; y una seccion de generacion de corriente codificada para generar una corriente codificada con base en el primer codigo y en el segundo codigo.
