Description

"SECURITY DEVICE FOR PRODUCT EXHIBITION" FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention is related to the techniques for displaying products in consumer centers, and more particularly it is related to a security device for product display. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Currently there are a variety of devices for displaying and dispensing products, said devices having different configurations, accessories and structures, depending on the product or article that is displayed and / or is in promotion. It is common to find in shopping malls, department stores and markets, a wide range of display devices that by their configuration and accessories such as materials, movement, light and even sound, makes them more attractive and attractive to the consumer to acquire the products they exhibit . Usually, these devices are lightweight, portable and with dimensions such as to attract and attractively display the product without occupying much physical space in a counter or in the box area of a self-service store. The materials used in the manufacture of the display devices are very varied, among which we find metals, plastics and glass, among others. Since the display devices are usually manually manipulated by consumers to verify the price or characteristics of the product offered; it is desirable that the structure be firm and the material used is resistant to prevent the device from falling and the products it contains to remain in good condition. Some of the most frequent problems in display devices are their vulnerability to rough handling and the lack of durability of their constituent elements, such as hinges or other elements that require constant manipulation to access the device, in addition to the instability of the devices. display devices to bear the weight of the different products they contain, among which are usually items of considerable weight such as batteries, metal rakes, etc. As mentioned above, within the characteristics that the devices must exhibit to display and sell any product is the fact that a consumer can easily see the product to verify its price or characteristics. However, it is known that certain products are highly susceptible to theft or mistreatment by consumers, so it is necessary that the devices for product display have means that provide security against theft and mistreatment of products without this protection strips the display device of the aesthetics or attractiveness it requires for the products it exhibits, and taking into account that the structure of the display device must conform to the characteristics and requirements of the products that are intended to be exhibited and the physical space it will occupy . There are in the state of the art devices for exhibition in which the protection of their products is made by means of sliding doors that prevent the direct contact of the consumer with the product. However the wear of the sheets that secure the doors, and the fragility of them is high, since they are usually made of glass because the plastic materials are more difficult to slip. The plates wear and lose effectiveness to a great extent to the fact that they must hold two doors by friction mechanisms, which reduces functionality and security. Sometimes, the doors of this type of security devices for product display, have hinges that over time suffer imbalances caused by the weight of said door and the constant opening and closing of the same. We also find the use of plates or locks which strip aesthetics to the device and are also susceptible to damage the doors by constant use. Most of the devices for exhibition and vending that currently exist differ in their conformation and materials with which they are made. The differences in conformation, as regards the distribution of the housings or means to house products, they depend to a great extent on the article that is exhibited, although the designs normally seek to have good mechanical properties and the versatility in the performance of the device to allow the use of folding or sliding doors, or various accessories or ways to protect items that are displayed against theft or abuse. Certain display devices, because they lack any protective or safety accessory, must be completely removed to a safe place for an employee to provide the product that is displayed. In accordance with what has been described above, a considerable amount of documents related to devices for displaying and dispensing various articles can be found within the state of the art. which we can mention the one protected by the Mexican Patent No. 194,310 which refers to a shelf for the exhibition and storage of products, which comprises at least one display surface to exhibit a product on it, a first vertical face placed on the surface of display and a drawer that is below the display surface for storing the product, said drawer comprises a front face of a height that promotes air circulation; In addition to the fact that it can comprise a cooling unit, this display rack is designed for the exhibition of perishable products due to the characteristics mentioned above. This merchandiser is not applicable to any type of merchandise and focuses solely on what are perishable products. Therefore, it does not provide versatility in terms of the variety of products that can be exhibited, nor does it solve the problem in terms of the need to insure the merchandise against theft or mistreatment thereof. On the other hand, the conformation and characteristics of the exhibitor described take away flexibility because it can not be easily located in different places, forcing it to be always in the same place and attended by an employee because access to the products by nature the same, it is not simple. On the other hand, there is Mexican Patent No. 162,381 in which improvements are described in vending and display of items packed in bags, which is configured as a frame, in the upper part of which a hook for handling and transportation is provided, said vending machine it is provided at its ends, upper and lower, with forks for its fixation as well as one or more ^ loops preferably arranged in its upper end portion for fixing cardboard allusive to the product exhibited, The above patent is limited to mentioning that the improvements are characterized in that the frame is integrated with at least two longitudinal bars, parallel to each other, and spaced apart from each other in such a way that the bags of the displayed articles are inserted between said bars, the lower bar serving one of the longitudinal bars. However, despite the fact that the consumer has easy access to the products exhibited, it is still necessary to protect them against theft and abuse of their packaging or container bags. Likewise, in Mexican Patent No. 149,410 improvements are described in a merchandise display comprising a box having several vertical walls, characterized in that one of the walls extends longitudinally and centrally of the box dividing it into two substantially equal parts; a tray with several drawers to hold various items; a cover of flexible and elastic material that is symmetrical and with several projections, one of the projections extends only over a part of each of the drawers to allow to remove the article from each drawer; interconnectable components or fasteners on the upper edge of the wall; and a lid hingedly connected to the box to close on the cover to enclose the drawers, however, this presents the great disadvantage of precisely not having the easy access of a customer to the merchandise in addition to not having a direct contact with the products because they are stored in drawers. According to the characteristics described for the display device in said document, it is possible to solve the problem regarding the protection of the product against theft or abuse, however, it is necessary to use plates or locks that would strip aesthetics or presentation to the exhibitor.
Similarly, Mexican Patent No. 111, 424 discloses the improvements in an exhibition shelf comprising a rod with one or more disc-shaped trays for the articles to be exhibited, passing through the rod through the openings in the trays to keep them at various heights, characterized in that at least one of the trays is provided with a notch extending from the opening for the rod to the periphery of the tray for replenishment thereof. As mentioned in the prior art, the exhibitor described, despite the fact that the consumer has easy access to the exhibited products, it is still necessary to protect them against theft and abuse of their packaging or container bags.
On the other hand, in Mexican Patent No. 138,345"Improvements to merchandise display", a merchandise display is described for articles that are going to be protected against theft, characterized in that it comprises a closed box part having a front wall elongated with parts spaced on the outside thereof, to receive the spaced parts of the article to be received, a locking rod located longitudinally inside the box and mounted in a pivot thereon, said closing rod having a operating part accessible through one end of the box to move, the The closure rod has a fastening bolt for the closing coupling with the article at least within one of said spaced parts, a flexible member connected to the rod for rotating the closing rod in a predetermined direction and a fastener for maintaining in releasable form said closing rod against any movement by the aforementioned flexible member. Said patent, despite taking into account the protection against theft, considers that the displayed article is inside a box, preventing the direct contact of the client with the displayed article. Likewise, Mexican Patent Application No. 9602150 provides an exhibit assembly that includes one or more display shelves, each having a T-shaped base and one or more tower members extending thereon. Each member of the tower can be rotated with respect to a rod that extends into the T-shaped base. A connecting plate is used to interconnect two or more display shelves so that the interconnected display rack acquires different configurations. One or more display stands are connected to each member of the tower. Each of the display stands receives products that have different widths. In addition, Mexican Patent No. 126,987 which is related to improvements in display apparatus comprising elongated rotating elements located side by side, which are characterized in that the display elements are mounted at their upper ends in a structure of the body of the exhibiting apparatus and by its lower ends in a reciprocating rotating bar and the apparatus comprises an actuator device that rotates the display elements by means of a motor As it can be seen, in the last documents described as in most exhibitors of the previous art despite having each one with different improvements, there is not exhibited an exhibitor that has the characteristics of aesthetics, firmness, versatility, easy access to the products exhibited and insurance of the products against theft or any type of abuse. They also require expensive equipment such as motors and other non-mechanical elements. As a result of the foregoing, it has been sought to eliminate the drawbacks of current exhibitors and retailers by developing a security device for product display in which the buyer has easy access to the displayed product, said device having a conformation such as to allow store, exhibit and sell a variety of products with different volume and shape in their packaging and have the appropriate protection to prevent theft or abuse of their packaging; all this without stripping of aesthetics and presentation to the device, besides being easy to assemble. OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION Taking into account the shortcomings of the prior art, it is an object of the present invention to provide a safety device for product display that does not include easy-to-decoch elements such as hinges or other fast-wearing elements, and that both do not require constant maintenance. It is another object of the present invention to provide a security device for product display, which at the same time provides aesthetics and presentation to the same and the products it contains, allows to store, exhibit and sell through controlled access to prevent theft or abuse of products. It is a further object of the present invention to provide a security device for displaying products that do not lose the proper aesthetics due to the obvious use of plates, padlocks or other security devices, but which nevertheless allows controlled access to it for avoid theft or abuse of products. It is still another object of the present invention to provide a security device for product display that is not mismatched by the weight of the doors or the products themselves. It is still a further object of the present invention to provide a security device for product display that is easy to assemble at the points of sale. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES The novel aspects that are considered characteristic of the present invention, will be established with particularity in the appended claims. However, the operation, together with other objects and advantages thereof, will be better understood in the following detailed description of a specific embodiment, when read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which: Figure 1 is a view in frontal elevation of a first embodiment of a security device for displaying products in an open position, constructed in accordance with the principles of the present invention.
Figure 2 is a front elevational view of the device of Figure 1 in the closed position. Figure 3 is a top plan view of the device of the figure 1. Figure 4 is a left side view of the device of Figure 1. Figure 5 is a bottom plan view of the device of the figure 1. Figure 6 is a front elevational view of a preferred embodiment of advertising means of the device of Figure 1. DETAILED DESCRIPTION Referring in particular to the accompanying drawings, and more specifically to Figure 1 thereof, it is hereby incorporated by reference in its entirety. shows a preferred embodiment of the security device for display of products 1000 of the present invention. The device 1000 of the present invention comprises a support module 1100 for attaching the device 1000 to at least one independent support element 1110 (shown in Figures 3 to 5), as well as to provide stability to at least two container modules 1200 defined by a back wall 1210, two side walls 1220, an upper wall 1230 and a lower wall 1240, which include a plurality of display elements 1300 to contain and / or hold products that can be accessed from the front of each container module 1200; rotary means 1400 that allow each container module 1200 to rotate about its vertical central axis independently; horizontal longitudinal displacement means 1500 (shown in Figures 3 and 5) associated with at least one of the container modules 1200 to move the container modules closer and closer to each other; and, securing means 1600 that allow restricted access to the interior of the container modules 1200 when they are joined by their front part. Referring now to Figures 3 to 5 of the drawings, there is shown the support module 1100, which in the embodiment described in said figure is hollow and metallic, and is formed by a frame 1120; at least two arms 1130 and 1140 located, respectively, in the central part of the upper and lower edges of the frame 1120 and perpendicular thereto, said arms having at their ends holding means, respectively, to allow their firm connection to the independent support element 1110. Preferably, the fastening means are selected between clamps, screws, bolts and combinations thereof. As can be seen in figures 3 and 4, the preferred fastening means consist of a clamp divided into a first clamp portion 1131 integrally joined to the arm 1130 and a second clamp portion 1132 which is passed behind the support element 1110 and is joined with the first clamp portion by a pair of screws 1133 that can be tightened to allow firm clamping of the device 1000 to the independent support element 1110. Turning now to Figure 1, the display elements 1300 for containing and / or holding products that are part of the container modules 1200, are selected between dividing and supporting sheets 1310; support wires 1320; and, combinations thereof, being able to adjust the size and distribution of them according to the products you want to exhibit. In a preferred embodiment, the support wires 1320 are attached to the rear wall 1210 of the container module and project perpendicularly from said wall towards the front, including at its external end means 1321 to carry information, such as the price. These support wires 1320 are normally useful for placing products that have a hanging hole, either as personal care items such as toothbrushes, rake holders 1322, spare rakes 1323, or electronic items such as batteries. 1324. Likewise, the dividing and supporting sheets 1310 can be adapted to contain articles that can not be hung, such as rolls of photographic film 1311 and packs of cigarettes 1312, among others, and may contain a sheet 1313 to carry a price. or, inclined sheets 1314 (shown in Figure 2) to allow the products to slide towards the front of the corresponding container module 1200. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, when the display elements 1300 are dividing and supporting sheets 1310, these include means 1330 for bringing the products closer to the front of the display module 1200 in which they are located. Preferably, the means for bringing the products closer comprise at least one wound strip 1331 of resilient, preferably metallic material, the outer end of which is fixed by clamping means 1332 on the upper surface of a horizontal dividing and supporting sheet 1310, so that the outer surface of the strip 1331 is in contact with the upper surface of the dividing and supporting sheet 1310 horizontal; and, at least one accommodation and guide element 1333 with the shape suitable for the product to be exhibited, through which the outer end of the strap 1331 is passed and which is placed on the inner surface of said strap, in a manner that most of the winding of the strap 1331 is at the rear of the housing and guide element 1333. The products are placed on the inner surface of the strap 1331 and on the front of the housing and guide element 1333, so that introducing a product, this pushes the housing and guide element 1333 backwards, thereby causing the strap to unroll as far as possible until it reaches the rear wall 1210 of the container module 1200, depending on the number of products. When a product is removed, the resilient capacity of the strip material 1331 causes it to re-wind to form the winding, pushing the products on its inner surface towards the front of the container module 1200. As can be seen by any In the art, it is possible to make numerous combinations of display elements 1300, already known in the prior art, depending on the characteristics of size and arrangement of the products to be exhibited. Additionally, it is also evident that the materials with which the container modules are manufactured can be very varied. However, polymeric materials are preferably used, with polymers derived from acrylates and methacrylates being more preferred. Now, as regards the turning means 1400, these preferably consist of a pair of arrows, upper 1410 and lower 1420, placed in coincidence with the vertical central axis of each container module 1300 and coupled at one end to the container module 1200 by first coupling means 1430, said first coupling means 1430 preferably consisting of a housing, of slightly larger diameter than the arrow, which forms an integral part of the container module 1300 and which can accommodate a portion of the arrow, the opposite end of each arrow 1410 and 1420 being associated with the support module 1100 by means of second coupling means 1440, which preferably consist of a housing of slightly larger diameter than the corresponding arrow that can accommodate a portion of said arrow. As regards the horizontal longitudinal displacement means 1500, in the embodiment shown in the figures, these are inserted in the support module 1100, as can be seen in figures 3 and 5. In the same modality , these allow the movement of the first container module 1250, which can be moved closer or further away from the second container module 1260. Notwithstanding the foregoing, it will be evident to a person skilled in the art that it is possible to invert the functions so that horizontal longitudinal movement the second container module 1260 has it. Preferably the horizontal longitudinal displacement means 1500, consist of an upper rail 1510 located on the upper edge of the frame 1120 and aligned with a lower rail 1520 located on the lower edge of the frame 1 120, both rails being located on the side of the container module 1200 which will allow the movement and extending from the center of the frame 1120 to ap approximately half the distance between the center of the frame 1120 and its edge. The rail is constructed in such a way that the turning means 1400 of the module container 1200 that wishes to move can move horizontally along the rail and can support, at the same time, container module 1200. Preferably, this is achieved by using as second coupling means 1440 housings 1443 attached to arrows 1410 and 1420 with a portion of diameter slightly smaller than the width of the rails 1510 and 1520 passing through the frame 1120 through said rails, and a portion of diameter greater than the width of the rails 1510 and 1520 to prevent the passage of the coupling means through the frame 1120, said portion remaining outside of frame 1120. Finally, securing means 1600 consists of any lock or plate that allows controlled access by a security mechanism 1612 (shown in Figure 5), preferably selected from a combination of numbers and a key, and that allows to keep attached to the container modules when their respective front parts are they coincide by the action of the turning means 1400 and horizontal longitudinal displacement means 1500. In a specific embodiment, this connection is achieved by fixing the container module 1200 including the horizontal longitudinal movement means 1500 to the frame 1120 by means of a sheet 1610 that drives a pivot 1611 located in said frame. In the position shown in figure 1 in which the products are accessed, the pivot 1611 is free, below the container module 1250. However, in the closed position, shown in figure 2, it can be seen that the plate 1610 has been activated and the pivot 1611 has been inserted in the container module 1250, preventing its horizontal movement and keeping it attached to the module container 1260, so that it is not possible to have access to the products that are exhibited in the device 1000 of the present invention. In a further embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to place more than two container modules 1200. The side container modules 1200, must have at least one rear wall, which prevents access to the products that are displayed. However, any intermediate container module is selected between container modules 1200 equal to the sides and container modules 1200 with a middle wall, located on the central axis of the side walls of the module and without back wall, to allow access to the products by both sides of the container, said intermediate container modules also having the means of rotation and horizontal longitudinal displacement. Certainly, in the modality described, in order to avoid access to the products, the sheet must be placed in such a place as to allow all the container modules 1200, the modules of the banks, to be held together, serving as covers for the containers. other intermediate modules. In a further embodiment, it is possible to adapt to the device 1000 of the present invention advertising means 1700, which preferably consist of a pair of upper elements 1710 and lower 1720 joined to the frame 1120 by fastening means, which incorporate surfaces that allow prices to be included, marks or drawings allusive to the products that are exhibited, as shown in figure 6. In accordance with what has been described above, it can be seen that the security device for displaying the products of the present invention has been devised to avoid the maintenance of hinged parts or that is subject to great efforts, and it will be evident to any person skilled in the art that the embodiments of the device of the present invention, described above and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, are only illustrative rather than limiting of the present invention, to which numerous changes of consideration in their details are possible without departing from the scope of the invention, such as the materials or configurations of the container modules and the support module. Even when a specific embodiment of the invention has been illustrated and described., it should be emphasized that numerous modifications to it are possible, such as different materials, configurations of the means of rotation and displacement, and distributions of products or advertising media. Therefore, the present invention should not be considered as restricted except by what is required by the prior art and by the spirit of the appended claims.
