Description

CONNECTOR BETWEEN A TUBE BUSHING, A PART OF TUBULAR ASSEMBLY OR AN ADAPTER AND A TUBE DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to a connector between a tube sleeve, a tubular mounting part or an adapter and a tube, in particular a hydraulic tube, having a connection part which is connected by a first end to the tube by means of a connection in the press, and by a second end to the tube sleeve, the mounting part or adapter. DE-U-9113 050 by the applicant describes a device having a connecting part which has, at one or both ends, a bushing to which the end of a composite pipe can be attached in a water-tight manner by pressing using depressed tabs. In the design according to figures 1 to 3, the connection part has a first end to produce a pressure connection and a second end having an external thread to produce a connection. 20connection bolted to a sanitary fitting. In the case of the design according to Figure 4, each of both ends has a bushing to produce a pressure connection. The invention is based on the object of providing a connector of the type mentioned above which will be easier to handle for installation purpose.
In the case of a connector of the generic type, the objective is held by the second end of the connecting part forming an insertion connection with a receiving part of the tube cap, a tubular mounting part or adapter. With the purpose of attaching a tube to an assembly, an adapter or a tube sleeve, the connection part should only be inserted into the receiving part before or after the pressure connection to the tube occurs. The time-consuming screwing process is avoided and the connection is simplified in installation positions which are airtight and difficult to obtain. According to a development of the invention, the second end is essentially of the same design as the first end. The connection part therefore has two ends which can connect in each case to a tube by means of a connection by pressure Therefore, the connection part can be designed in such a way that it can be used either for connection tubes or for the connection of a tube to an assembly, a tube cap or an adapter. The retention in storage and also the installation are therefore substantially simplified. If, in accordance with a development of the invention, there is provided a housing of the receiving part with an opening into which a radially expandable retaining ring is inserted, a particularly advantageous design of the insertion connection in terms of structure. This retaining ring can be produced as a separate loose part such as a plastic part. When inserted at the second end into the receiving part, the retaining ring expands radially and connects to the connecting part to the tube cap, the tubular mounting part or to the adapter. The invention also relates to the assembly or to an adapter for a connector, as claimed in claim 1 and also to a connection part to the assembly or adapter. Further advantageous features result from the dependent patent claims, the description that follows and also from the drawing. An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing in which: Figure 1 shows a longitudinal section through a device according to the invention, Figure 2 shows a section through a ring of retention, Figure 3 shows a view of the retaining ring according to Figure 2, Figure 4 shows a section through an adapter, and Figure 5 shows a view of the adapter according to Figure 4. The device 1 shown in Figure 1 5 essentially comprises a connector part 7 and an adapter 4 into which a retaining ring 8 is inserted. The connection part 7 has a first end 7a and a second end 7b. Both ends are designed as cylindrical bushes and have an irregular exterior 13 inside which a rubber elastic seal 9 is inserted in each case. The connection part 7 has, approximately centrally, two circular rims 11 and 12 formed integrally, which are placed at a certain distance from each other and extend radially outwards. The first end 7a forms a pressure connection with a tube 10. The tube 10 is preferably a hydraulic tube and, for example, a composite tube. Tubes of this type are generally known and can be plastically deformed in order to produce a pressure connection. The depressed tabs 2, by means of which the pressure connection has been produced, are schematically indicated in FIG. 1. These pressing tabs 2, of course, are removed again once the pressure connection is produced. The flange 11 serves here as a stop for the tube 10 and for placing Waves tongues 2 in pressed. The sealing ring 9 is pressed between the end 7a of the tube and the end 10a of the tube and ensures the tightness of the connection by pressure. The second end 7b is of the same design as the first end 7a. However, the outer diameter of this end cylinder 7b may differ from the external diameter of the first end 7a. However, in any case it is designed in such a way that it can likewise be used to produce a pressure connection. The second end 7b is therefore similar to a tubular bushing, but here it forms a connector part which is inserted into an opening 5 of a receiving part 4 of the adapter 4. The second end 7b forms an insertion connection with the receiving part 4. As can be clearly seen, in particular in Figure 4, the opening 5 consists of a region 5a which is enlarged annularly and of a slightly narrower cylindrical tubular region 5b. According to FIG. 1, the retaining ring 8, which is preferably produced from plastic by injection molding, is inserted into the region 5a. This ring 8 has, at its front end, a plurality of identical hooks 14 which are formed by axial grooves 15 and connecting to each other at the rear edge 16. According to FIG. 1, the edge 16 rests against a projection 20 (FIG. 4) of the receiving part 4. The hooks 14 can expand radially and elastically outwardly. In their entirety they form a circular groove 23 in the interior which serves to receive the flange 12. The retaining ring 8 is inserted loosely and with a bit of play into the opening 5. If the second end 7b is inserted in the opening 5 in order to produce the insertion connection, when the rim 12 is placed on the inclined entry surfaces 24, the hooks 14 expand elastically and radially outwards, with the result that the rim 12 can close Pressed into the slot 23. The hooks 14 then essentially return back to their rest position and slide around the rim 12. The receiving part 4 has, at the front end, a radially and obliquely inwardly directed edge 6, the which forms an axial stop for the retaining ring 8. If the flange 12 now snaps into the retaining ring, the retaining ring 8 can no longer be pulled out of the opening 5 since, as mentioned, the edge 6 forms a stop for the retaining ring 8 . The flange 12 retains the hooks 14 in the position shown, with the result that these hooks 14 are not capable of bending radially inwardly if attempts to release the insertion connection outside the connection part 7. Therefore, an essentially non-releasable insertion connection is formed when the connecting part 7 is fully inserted into the opening 5 of the adapter 3. If necessary, the connection can be released by destruction of the retaining ring 8. The tightness of the insertion connection is ensured by the sealing ring 9 which, in the region 5b of the opening, bears against the inside of the tubular section of the adapter 3. This tubular region 5b receives a substantial part of the second end. 7b and at this end 7b rests against the connection part 7a and forms a support. The connecting part 7 is therefore held axially secure in the opening 5 of the adapter 3, sealed and fixed against axial inclination. 5 The connection part 7 can also be used to connect two tube ends. The second end 7b, like the first end 7a, are used to produce a pressure connection. Like the flange 11, in this case, the flange 12 forms a stop for a pipe 10 and for guiding the tongues 2 of the pressed. The adapter 3 is produced, for example bronze. It has an internal thread 26 at one connection end 15 for an additional connection. The adapter 3 can therefore be connected to an additional part at the end 25 by means of a connection of screw. However, the adapter 3 can also be an assembly, a tubular mounting part or a tube cap. An essential feature is that the tubular receiving part 4 which allows the production of an insertion connection with the part 7. 20 During installation, the pressure connection between the part 7 and the composite tube 10 is generally produced by means of the 2 depressed tabs. The free end 7b is subsequently inserted into the receiving part 4 as explained above. The pressure connection with the retaining ring 5 is carried out automatically here and no tools are required for this. An insertion connection of this type can also be produced very simply in a position which is difficult to reach and, as mentioned, without tools. The pressure fitting of the retaining ring 8 can be clearly recognized and can also be verified. Therefore, it is ensured that the insert connection is always complete. This is an essential aspect in the field of health technology.
