Abstract

The invention relates to a method for inserting a plurality of individual sheetlike forms of administration in a dispenser by forming a multilayer pile for individual doses, using sheetlike bands (10) wound in rolls (1) as a starting material. The inventive method is characterized by the following work steps:in a first work step a plurality of sheetlikeplies of the bands (10) corresponding to the pile (9) are taken out simultaneously from several rolls (1);in a following work step the individual bands (10) are assembled in a multilayer strand (8) using guiding elements (2);in a third work step said strand is pulled towards a cutting station (4) and cut to the length of a pile (9) which is then, in a subsequent work step, inserted along at least one pile (9) of loose individual plies in a dispenser (5).

Description

Procedure and device for introducing a certain number of presentation forms into individualized sheets in a dispenser forming a stack of several layers.
The invention relates to a method and a device for introducing a number of presentation forms into individualized sheets in a dispenser forming a stack of several layers for the collection of individual doses, in which the starting material is presented in the form of rolled strips . The forms of presentation can contain, for its application, therapeutic or cosmetic products, or products for the food industry. The forms of presentation in sheets destined to the oral cavity and to the mucous membranes thereof are known. For example, patent US 3444 858 (1969) describes drug strips based on a gelatinous material. There are also proposals for employment of these sheets outside the pharmaceutical sector. EP 0216 762 discloses a sheet of water-soluble starch, glycerin or sorbitol, which is covered with a layer by means of rollers. It is mentioned therein that these dosage forms can also be manufactured, for example, for chemical reagents, aromatic substances and the like. Since about 1995, forms of presentation have been disseminated on the market, common in the cosmetics and confectionery sectors, with individual plastic dispensers, among which we can mention the product of Nisshin, Japan. The individual dispensers contain stacks of cut-outs of overlapping sheets, which after opening a flap allow the individual taking of the upper unit. However, the technical solution of creating and packaging these stacks of starting material in the form of sheets encounters difficulties; In the literature there are no practical instructions for its manufacture. Only in US 4 180558 there is described the stacking of edible films, but which are laminated on one another by the edges and therefore do not serve for the described application. As these forms of presentation in sheets tend to be charged with static electricity due to their low weight per unit area, which is for example between 10 and 50 g / m2, and as the surfaces have to be slides to facilitate their collection, The exact position of the cut and of the overlap of the sections of leaves is only achieved with great difficulties and with great loss of time. Neither the observation of manufacturing techniques of the industrial sector, such as paper processing or packaging in plastic bags, offers any practical indication to solve the problem. It is true that US 4 070 014 describes the formation of stacks of two different types of paper, the partial overlap of which is achieved with the aid of transfer rollers that vacuum by vacuum. This technique, as known from US 5 348 527 for stacking paper, describes a relatively laborious process of trimming individual sections of a roll and placing them in a stack. US 4 406 650 describes the formation of a paper web bent in a zigzag fashion from a roll, which becomes a pile afterwards. to apply the guillotine. The cutting of this material presents a drawback. In fact, due to the different structure of the upper and lower face of the leaves or to the corrugation, it is not possible to stack the individual sheets with their original upper face upwards. Starting from the state of the art, the invention proposes to describe a method and a device of the type indicated in the generic definition of claim No. 1 with which, in addition to avoiding the drawbacks and difficulties already mentioned, it is possible to introduce in a dispenser, with precision and high process speed, forms of presentation in dosable individual sheets forming a multilayer stack, in which the output material is presented in the form of rolled strips. The invention achieves this purpose by a method of the type mentioned in the generic definition of claim 1 with the sequence of production steps indicated in the characterization. This procedure presents a surprisingly advantageous and simple way to form an exact stack, unrolling simultaneously several individual rolls of intermediate product, the superposition of the different bands, the joint cross-section of the resulting multiple tape and the bucking of the piles, which are then introduced into the dispenser. The method of the invention is suitable and very advantageous for precision work at high speed. The intermediate product, which is in the form of narrow rolls, consists for example of individual rolled strips, of about 20 to 1,000 m in length and width of the product, which are manufactured from the original wide material by cutting the rolls. In the simplest case, a number of narrow rolls corresponding to the number of sheets per dispenser are fixed on axes that rotate freely in the vicinity of the stack to be prepared.
It is recommended that the rolls rotate and unroll in the same direction, and the material is extracted and transported together by traction devices known to the expert. The resulting multiple tape is then brought, under control and equalization of the lateral edges, to a transverse cutting device, behind which the dispenser to be loaded is open. The narrow rolls used can have almost any geometry. Good results are obtained if the width of the rolls is between 5 and 40 mm. The length of the material wound on each roller must be at least 20 m, preferably more than 500 m, to prevent frequent interruptions of the process. It is possible to previously unite two or more bands and unwind them simultaneously, which nevertheless usually generates difficulties when many layers are rolled. It has been shown that it is not possible to unwind a product consisting of eight or more of these layers in a controlled process, since the elements corresponding to the outer radius of the strip are somewhat longer than the inner elements. If, for example, there are more than four layers, when unrolling the gap between the bands could occur and therefore the process would be interrupted. For these reasons it is preferable to roll and unroll rolls with few elements, for example up to a total of four. The type of the dispenser is irrelevant for the application of the present invention. Plastic or cardboard dispensers can be filled without problems. If rectangular sections are used, the side of the opening can be located on the narrow side, in which case the narrow pre-cut rolls will have the width of the small side of the rectangle.
But if the narrow rolls are executed in what will then be the longitudinal dimension of the section, the opening side of the dispenser will be on one of its longitudinal sides. In the case of two-part dispensers, it would be reasonable to begin by filling the lower part, for example in the form of a drawer, and then occupying the upper part. But it is also possible to fill semi-open dispensers. It is also possible to fill sealable bags, which in particular can be used as dispensers in the case of a "peelable" presentation form, provided that for example the cut pile is deposited on the underside of a sealable packaging tape and then, after Provide the upper face, seal the resulting bag. The particularities, characteristics and advantages of the invention can be deduced from the following example, where the succession of steps represented in the schematic drawing is explained. The device designed to introduce a number of presentation forms into individual sheets in a dispenser forming a stack of several layers (9) for the collection of individual doses comprises, according to Figure 1, an indeterminate number - which depends on the number of layers - of rolls (1 a to 1 h) of rolled active substance bands (10). In the unwinding process, the bands of active substance converge, in trajectories that form different angles with the horizontal, on guide rollers (2) and pass between them, where the bands (10) are joined in a multilayer tape (8). ). Transport rollers (3) pick up the belt (8) and push it to a shear (4).
At the end of the transport path, the shear (4) of the belt (8) separates a stack of various layers (9), consisting of loose and overlapping presentation forms in the exact same orientation, which is loaded into a dispensing container. (5) ready, once a transport equipment (not shown in the figure) has placed the dispenser (5) in the filling position. Then the dispenser (5) is charged with a battery (9) at least. If the material and programming so require, the same dispensing container (5) can be filled with several stacks (9) in successive steps. Next, conveyor (11) removes the loaded container. The procedure and the device surprise for their simplicity, for their economic construction and for offering an ideal solution to the problem posed at the beginning.
