Abstract

The invention relates to a door lock for an all-glass door having a fixed side element made of glass. The door lock is fixed by means of a hole in the all-glass door and substantially comprises a bolt (6), a latch (4) and a nut. A lock counter-plate (10, 11) is fixed at the height of the door lock via a hole provided for in the glass side-element. The door lock further comprises a first lock plate (1) which is arranged on one side of the all-glass door and a second lock plate (2) which is positioned opposite the first lock plate (1) on the other side of the all-glass door. The first lock plate houses the latch (4) and the second plate (2) the strike plate for the bolt (6). The invention also provides for a first counter-plate (11) and a second counter-plate (10) which are actively coupled to each other by a lock cylinder (16) via a hole in the fixed glass side-element. The bolt (6) is positioned in the second counter-plate (10) such that it can be moved into a pre-locking position and an engagement for the latch (4) is provided for in the first counter-plate (11).

Description

DOOR LOCK, FOR A WHOLE GLASS DOOR, WITH FIXED GLASS SIDE PANELS Description This invention, according to the generic part of patent claim 1, relates to a door lock for an installation, all of glass, which comprises a fixed side glass panel, whereby the door lock it is attached to the door, all glass, through a perforation, contained there, and basically includes a dead bolt, a latch bolt and a follower, and a latch female box is attached to the glass side panel, through of a perforation, contained therein, at the height of the door lock, this door lock is designed to include a first and second lock covers, like a first and a second latch box, in each case, only one of them comprised respectively, is engaged by the latch bolt respectively to the dead bolt. The door locks for doors, all of glass, are known from the prior art, which only include a bolt that is to be locked, for example, through the action of a key. In this case, the portion of the door lock, which is driven by a follower, by means of a lever handle and comprising the latch bolt, is mounted on the door leaf, all of glass, and The female lock box is provided in the fixed side panel comprising a strike plate for the latch bolt. From DE 43 00 810 Al and DE 16 34 506, the door locks for all glass installations are known, which are equipped with only one locking mechanism in the form of a latch bolt or a dead bolt. With respect to the current security requirements, this possibility of closure behaves in a simple way and is considered as not satisfactory. DE 44 00 196 Cl and GM 73 28 782 illustrate door locks for all glass installations, made with a latch bolt mechanism and a dead bolt. Due to the realization of both locking mechanisms, these locks designs are large in size. According to the aesthetic aspects, it is not really advantageous to use such a construction in all glass installations. Also, these locks can not be universally mounted to a door and to a fixed side panel. The object of the invention is a further development of a door lock of the prior art, which can be used universally and can be used for different purposes after a minor modification. Likewise, such type of door lock must be easy to install. • The object of the invention is resolved in accordance with the patent claim 1. The sub-claims reflect further developments of the inventive idea. A door lock of the prior art is, therefore, further developed in that both the lock cover and the lock box are separated. This means that each side of the installation, all glass, comprises respectively a lock cover and a lock female box. In this case, the lock covers are linked together through a perforation contained in the entire door of glass and by means of a lever tree, which passes through this perforation and links both lever handles to each other, respectively, on the front and rear face of the entire glass door. Similarly, the female lock boxes are joined, however, in this case, by means of • a connector, which passes through a perforation in the fixed side panel at the height of, and in alignment with, 5 the lock covers. A locking cylinder is inserted through the bore into the fixed glass side panel and by means of effective connections of both female lock boxes to each other. • Lock covers and female boxes locks are designed so that, when facing each other, which means from the first side to the other side, they are designed identically as their geometric dimensions. For this reason, only two molds are required. 15 The latch bolt of the door lock • it is comprised in a first lock cover, which is mounted on the side of the all-glass door, where this all-connected glass door is opened via a hinge at a point of rotation. A part of the cover lock is projected to the vertical edge of the entire glass door. This projecting part contains the latch bolt of the door lock. The second lock cover, provided on the opposite side of the all-glass door, has a cavity with respect to the aforementioned vertical edge of the entire glass door. A crash plate with opening is provided in this cavity, inside which the opening is coupled with a dead bolt, comprised in a female lock box of the side panel. This opposite lock female box also projects the vertical edge of the fixed glass side panel, • so that, in this part of the projection, in the action of locked by means of the closing cylinder, the dead bolt moves forward and engages in the shock plate of the second lock cover. On the opposite side of this female lock box of the fixed side panel, all glass, is disposed on the other side a female box lock, which has the same configuration as the cover • Lock, comprising the shock plate for the dead bolt / "This female lock box also has a cavity on its outer edge, with respect to the edge of the vertical side panel, all glass, so that the part that is projected from the first lock cover with the latch bolt there contained, partially overlaps the female lock box. The latch bolt of the first lock cover engages in an opening of the lock female box, disposed on the opposite side. • The invention is described based on a possible modality, illustrated schematically, of example shown in the following figures, where: Figure 1 is a sectional view through a door, all glass, with a fixed side panel, which includes a door lock and Figure 2 is a front view of a door lock 10, with the door, all glass, and the fixed side panel. The door 3, all glass, including the adjacent fixed glass side panel 9, illustrated in Figure 1, can be an example of the components of a installation. In this case, the door 3, all of glass, is pivotally supported at a point 14 of rotation by means of hinges, not illustrated. On the side of the door 3, all glass, the door lock basically comprises a first lock cover 1 and a second cover 2 of lock. The covers, 1 and 2, lock, are solidly connected in a positive and non-positive with the door 3, all glass, by means of connectors, not illustrated. A lever tree passes through a perforation, contained in the door 3, all of glass, and extends at the same time to, through the follower, not illustrated. Handles, 7 and 8, lever are mounted to the 5 ends of the lever tree. In the fixed side panel 9 of glass, arranged in true alignment with the door 3, all of glass, the female boxes, 10 and 11, of lock, are assembled • Solidarity, positively and not positively, to the panel. 9 fixed side glass, similarly, by means of accessories not illustrated. A closing cylinder 16 passes through another perforation, contained in the glass side panel 9. The dead bolt 6 contained in the lock female box 10 is operated by means of a projection of closing, not illustrated, of the closing cylinder 16. In this case, the dead bolt 6 moves out of a projection 13 of the female lock box 10, with respect to a vertical edge 17 of the fixed glass side panel 9. The female lock box 11 is designed so that it comprises a cavity 12 with respect to vertical edge 17 of fixed glass side panel 9. An opening, in which a latch bolt 4 can engage, is provided within the cavity 12. In this case, the latch bolt 4 is disposed, movably, in the lock cover 1. This • lock cover 1 projects with respect to a vertical edge 5 of door 3, all glass, and thus covers, respectively overlapping the recess of the lock female box 11. Similarly, the lock cover 2 has a cavity, which is formed analogously to the cavity 12 of the lock female box 11, since the cavities • geometric dimensions of the parts are identical. When actuating the lever handle, 7 or 8, the latch bolt 4 retracts into the lock cover 1 and, in the case of the dead bolt 6, does not move forward, the door 3, all glass, can pivoting in an opening direction 15. This door 3, all glass, is closed analogously in the opposite way. In the actuation of • Closing cylinder 16, which is illustrated in Figure 2, dead bolt 6 moves forward outside of the lock cover 2. In this case, door 3, all glass, is locked, so this door 3, all glass, can not be open when the lever handles 7, 8 are actuated.
