Abstract

The adjustment of the intensity of evaporation is conducted by means of the variation in the relative position between the upper end (6') of the wick (6) which absorbs the product of the vessel (2) and the electroheating resistors (5) which favour the evaporation of said product, and more specifically keeping static said resistors and the assembly constituted by the vessel (2) and the wick (6) being displaceable. For this, said vessel (2) with any configuration, is provided with at least one revolution sector (7) in which a helicoidal groove (8) is established, of great pitch, operating as thread for the axial displacement of the container (2), when a rotational movement is applied to the same, at least one pair of opposed teeth (9) collaborating with said groove (8) which are finished off with leastically deformable arms (10) of the casing (1).

Description

EVAPORATOR DEVICE FOR VOLATILE PRODUCTS WITH VARIABLE EVAPORATION INTENSITY DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an evaporative device for volatile products, be they air fresheners or insecticide products, of the type that use an electroheating resistance to improve the evaporation or volatilization of the product, and those that use a wick that absorbs said product from the corresponding container container to the zone of influence of the electroheating resistance.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Evaporators of volatile products are known to have a container in which the product in question is housed, whether it is an air freshener or an environmental insecticide, a wick extending through the bottom of said container and the electroheating resistance. that the product rises to reach the area of influence of the resistance. In this type of devices and as is obvious, the intensity of evaporation or diffusion of product is constant as long as there is product in the container container.
However, in practice it may be desirable to decrease or increase at will, at certain times, the intensity of environmental product supply, in this sense a solution is known, collected in the utility model 9002819, according to which the electroheating resistance is mounted With a floating character within the device, so that through guides and a mechanism of manual operation, can move axially varying its level of confrontation to the upper end of the wick and, consequently, varying its effectiveness as such heating element and a level of diffusion of the product. However, this solution is structurally complex, since it requires a resistance mounted on a special, movable support, which has to be related to the plug through flexible cables, which allow its axial displacement, all of which makes it difficult and expensive. constructive process.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The device proposed by the invention solves in a fully satisfactory manner the aforementioned problem, based on a totally different conception, namely on the basis of maintaining static the electroheating resistance as it is the container, and consequently the wick associated thereto, which is move with greater or lesser incidence in the field of action of said resistance. "s" "& fr & t- - ^ * More specifically, it has been foreseen that said container has at least one sector of revolution in which a helical groove determining a large pitch thread is established, while in the casing of the device, carrier with irremovable character of the electroheating resistance, at least one pair of opposing teeth are established as complementary thread elements, which determine a marked axial displacement for the container, when a rotary movement is supplied thereto. According to another characteristic of the invention, said helical groove of the container can present its closed ends, so that they constitute limit stops of rotation in either direction, which establish the two limit positions of maximum and minimum intensity of evaporation, at the same time as the aforementioned opposing teeth of attachment and displacement of the container with respect to the car home, are mounted on elastically deformable arms that, with a certain effort, allow the assembly and disassembly of said container when it becomes necessary to replace it. However, the mentioned limit stops can be obtained by other means, such as, for example, by means of a hook acting on a flange of the container. Since the container container is usually materialized in a bottle with a screw cap, for hermetic closure during storage prior to consumption, it is provided that, optionally, it may be the own thread corresponding to the cap of the container that replaces the aforementioned helical groove, coupling the teeth of the housing to this thread, in whose case achieves the same effect as in the previous case, although with a slower axial movement, which requires a wider rotary movement, making it necessary the existence of complementary means to avoid the total accidental uncoupling of the container with respect to the housing . It is also feasible that the large-pitch helical groove is superimposed on the own threading of the plug. In any case, it is achieved that, starting from a fixed housing in which a resistance or set of electroheated resistors is also fixed, the intensity of evaporation can be regulated at will, simply by supplying a rotary movement to the container containing the product, It is also easily attachable and uncoupled within the housing. According to another feature of the invention, it is provided that the device incorporates means for indicating the level of evaporation intensity, which act as a function of the relative position between the casing of the device and the body of the container, or by detecting the axial positioning of the latter, or its angular positioning, in any case with respect to the fixed housing.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS To complement the description that is being made and in order to help a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, according to a preferred example of practical realization thereof, a set of drawings is included as an integral part of said description. where with illustrative and non-limiting character, the following has been represented: Figure 1 shows a schematic representation in side elevation of an evaporative device for volatile products with variable evaporation intensity carried out according to the object of the present invention, in the that the casing of the device appears partially sectioned to clearly show its internal structure, according to a preferred embodiment of the invention in which the helical groove is placed on the own threads of the container and in which the casing incorporates a hook of retention for said container. Figure 2 shows another view in side elevation of the assembly represented in the previous figure, with the same type of representation and with the device rotated 90 °. Figure 3 shows a side elevation view of the device of the previous figures, opposed to that of Figure 1 and with the casing unsecured.
Figure 4 shows a side elevation view similar to that of Figure 2 but also with the casing unsectioned. Figure 5 shows a plan view of the assembly shown in figures 3 and 4. Figure 6 shows a representation similar to that of figure 2 but corresponding to a practical embodiment in which the helical groove is located independently of the thread of the container. Figure 7 shows a cross section of the assembly represented in the previous figure according to the cut line A-B of said figure. Figure 8 shows a side elevation view of an assembly similar to that of Figure 6, in which the configuration of the container varies and in which the casing of the device, without sectioning, appears rotated 90 ° with respect to the position of the Figure 6 shows, finally, a representation similar to that of Figure 8, but with the housing sectioned and in accordance with a variant of practical embodiment in which the device uses the own thread of the container, initially usable for the closing plug thereof, as regulation means for the evaporation intensity.
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION In view of these figures and especially of figures 1 to 5, it can be observed how in the device being implemented, as in any conventional device of this type, a housing (1), capable of receiving the container (2) container, is involved. of the product in question, whether it is an air freshener product or an insecticide product, which container, as is also conventional, is coupled to the housing (1) generally by partial "plugging", said casing (1) having a lateral projection 83) terminated on a plug (4), for connection to the power supply network of a set of electroheating resistors (5), which in the present case are of the "PTC" type, conveniently established inside the housing (1), and also in the present case are fixed, establishing between the location zone of said resistors (5) and the bottom of the container (2), a wick (6) that, by capillarity, absorbs said product making it ascend towards the area of influence of the resistances (5). Well, according to the essentiality of the invention and as just pointed out, the electroheating resistors (5) are fixed, being immovably established within the housing (1), the wick (6) being, together with the own container (2), which are axially displaceable within the casing (1), to penetrate the upper extremity of said wick (6), to a greater or lesser extent, in the field of influence of the PTC'S (5). For this purpose, and as can be observed in particular in FIG. 1, the container body (2), which can assume any configuration, has at least one sector (7) of revolution, in which a helical groove (8) determining a great step thread, in which he plays ** 8¿3 & £ &k £? F minus one tooth (9), belonging to the housing (1) and preferably located on the free end of an arm (10) elastically deformable, so that said tooth (9) acts as a thread that causes the rapid axial advance in one direction or the other (2), and consequently the upper end of the wick (6), when a rotary movement is supplied to said container (2), in one or the other direction, through the end sector and lower thereof projecting with respect to the housing (1), as also seen in Figure 1. Specifically in the practical embodiment of these figures 1 to 5 the slot (8) is superimposed on the thread itself (11). ) of the container (1) initially provided for the closing cap thereof, but said slot can be independent of the thread (11), as in the practical embodiment example shown in figure 6, or it can be used as a slot own thread (11) as in the case represented in Figure 9, with the exception that in this case and as is obvious, the adjustment maneuver will be slower because the pitch of the thread (11) is much smaller than that of the groove (8), and the tooth must also be adapted or the teeth (9 ') to this thread (11) also of less depth than the slot (8). Thanks to this simple maneuver, the upper extremity of the wick (6) can be confronted with the electro-heating resistances (5), or adopt a lower positioning in which the thermal influence of said resistances is much lower and, consequently, also lower the evaporation intensity of the product entrained by the wick (6) from inside the bottle or container 82). In order to avoid the complete uncoupling of the container (2) during the adjustment operation, in this practical embodiment it is provided that a hook (12) is mounted on the housing (1), whose end positions are shown in FIG. continuous and discontinuous line in figure 1, trigger acting, through its retention tooth 813) on the staggering defined by a peripheral perimeter (14) operatively established in the container (2). However, and according to the variant embodiment shown in FIG. 6, the slot (8) can have its ends closed so that it acts in addition as a stop limiter for rotation both in one direction or in another direction for the container (2) and , consequently, as a stop preventing the accidental uncoupling of the container (2) from the housing 81). In this case, for the assembly and disassembly of the container (2), in the unavoidable substitution maneuvers thereof, the elastic deformability of the arms 810) in which the teeth (9) are located, and especially the existence of conical fronts in said teeth, complementary to another conical front (15) established in the container itself (2), in the zone of immediate access to the groove (8). In the case represented in figure 9, in which the own thread (11) of the container (2), previously used for the cap, is used as a groove for axial displacement thereof, there is no possibility of closing the ends of said thread 811), so that the hook (12) of FIG. 1 can be used as retaining means for the container (2), or else elastically deformable fins (16), established at the mouth of the housing (1) itself and provided with the same retaining teeth 813) acting on the same step defined by the projection (14) of the container (2). Since the evaporation intensity is a function of the relative positioning between the container (2), mobile, and the housing (1), fixed to the wall through the plug (4), to visually detect the selected intensity level at each time, according to the variant embodiment of Figures 1 to 5, it is provided that the body (2) of the package, in its visible sector, is provided with a scale (17), mobile, that in the rotary movement of said container (2) is changing its relative position with respect to a fixed signal (18) set in the housing. However instead of detecting the angular position of the container 82), as in this embodiment, the axial position thereof can be used, as in the example shown in Figure 8, in which case the graduated scale (17 ') is the one that is fixed, being located on the casing itself (1), specifically on one or both sides of a deep vertical groove (19), within which plays a circumferential mark 818 ') established on the periphery of the body (2) of the container, which will obviously move along the scale (17 '), in one or the other direction, when the container body (2) also rotates in one direction or another.
