Abstract
La presente invencion proporciona una molécula de ADN aislada que codifica la malation carboxilesterasa capaz de hidrolizar al menos un organofosfato seleccionado del grupo que consiste de organofosfato de carboxiléster y organofosfatos de dimetiloxon. La molécula de ADN comprende una secuencia de nucleotidos que tiene al menos 60%, preferiblemente al menos 80% y más preferiblemente al menos 95% de homología con LcalfaE7, en la cual la proteína codificada por la molécula de ADN difiere de E3 en al menos la substitucion de Trp en la posicion 251 con un aminoácido seleccionada del grupo que consiste de Leu, Ser, Ala, Ile, Val, Treo, Cis, Meti and Gli. Los substituyentes preferidos son Leu y Ser.
