Abstract

Se describen métodos y sistemas para medir la resistencia de señal de tonos de audio de supervision (SATs) en sistemas de radiocomunicacion. Las modalidades ejemplares describen como pueden realizarse dichas mediciones utilizando técnicas de procesamiento de señal digital, mientras que se reduce la cantidad de energía de computacion, v.gr., MIPs, utilizada para lograr esta tarea. Durante cada intervalo de medicion un numero grande muestras de señal SAT se reciben. En lugar de procesar un intervalo de medicion de muestras SAT recibidas, las modalidades ejemplarias se basan en un promedio deslizante de muestras que incluyen tanto las muestras de bloques actuales como anteriores. De esta manera, la resistencia de señal SAT puede reportarse de manera relativamente frecuente al sistema pero sin el numero de computaciones que se requerirían para procesar todas las muestras de señal SAT recibidas durante un intervalo de medicion.
