Abstract

Un sistema y método para operar un servicio de reconocimiento de voz automático que usa una arquitectura cliente-servidor se usa para hacer los servicios ASR accesibles a un cliente que se encuentra lejos de la localizacion de la máquina ASR principal. La presente invencion utiliza las comunicaciones cliente-servidor sobre una red paquete, tal como la Internet, en donde el servidor ASR recibe una gramática del cliente, recibe informacion que representa la voz del cliente, efectua el reconocimiento de la voz, y regresa informacion basada en la voz reconocida al cliente.
