Abstract
Se presenta una aleacion de acero inoxidable martensítico endurecible por precipitacion que consiste esencialmente, en por ciento en peso, de aproximadamente 0.03 máx. de C, 1.0 máx, 0.75 máx. de Si, 0.040 máx. de P, 0.020 máx. de S, 10-13 de Cr, 10.5-11.6 de Ni, 1.5-1.8 de Ti, 0.25-1.5 de Mo, 0.95 máx. de Cu, 0.25 máx. de Al, 0.3 máx. de Nb, 0.10 máx de B, 0.030 máx. de N, el resto es esencialmente fierro. La aleacion presentada proporciona una combinacion unica de resistencia a la fisuracion por corrosion bajo tension, resistencia mecánica y tenacidad a la entalladura.
