Una segunda capa (18) puede ser adherida al segundo lado y el artículo con capas puede ser cortado también desde el primer lado, por ejemplo, por medio de cortes los cuales no coinciden con los cortes del segundo lado y los cuales no penetran a través de la capa transmisiva (16). Las porciones del artículo que porta la insignia (14) son mantenidas en sus orientaciones y posiciones originales por las porciones intactas de la capa transmisiva respectivamente (16) y la segunda capa (18). Si se tiene acceso a la insignia por ejemplo, para alterarla, las porciones que portan la insignia (14) no son alargadas ni se mantienen en su lugar, lo cual es detectable fácilmente.
