Abstract
Se proporciona un montaje de cojinete de movimiento lineal para moverse a lo largo de un eje. El retén esférico del montaje de cojinete se monta a partir de una pluralidad de segmentos de retén esférico autonomos interacoplables arqueados son todos idénticos y pueden ser montadas a una variedad de configuraciones, ya sea para montajes de cojinete de tipo abierto o montajes de cojinete de tipo cerrado. Cada uno de los segmentos de retén esférico (22) incluye al menos una pista o carril esférico (30) que tiene una porcion que soporte carga (32) y una porcion de retorno (34). Esos segmentos están preferiblemente formados de un polímero diseñado y son sustancialmente autonomos para proteger los balines del cojinete (52) contenidos en él de la contaminacion ambiental. Las placas que soportan carga (44) están preferiblemente retenidas en los segmentos (22) para facilitar el fácil montaje y eliminar la necesidad de un alojamiento externo. Los segmentos (22) se unen para formar el montaje de cojinete total ya sea a través de estructuras entrelazadas formadas en cada segmento o por pistas o bandas de retencion (24). Opcionalmente, pueden colocarse extremos sobre los extremos longitudinales para proteger el montaje de cojinete de la contaminacion ambiental. También se proporciona un proceso de montaje novedoso y eficiente para montajes de cojinete de movimiento lineal. Este proceso incluye los pasos de proporcionar una pluralidad de segmentos de retén esférico autonomo arqueado (22), cada uno de los segmentos incluye al menos una pista o carril esférico (30) que tiene una porcion que soporta carga (32) y una porcion de retorno (34), que carga una pluralidad de balines de cojinete (52) en la pista o carril esférico (30), que coloca una placa que soporta carga (44) en el segmento (22) adyacente a la porcion que soporta carga de la pista o carril esférico (30), y que monta los segmentos de retén esférico autonomos arqueados (22) para formar un montaje de cojinete de movimiento lineal.
