Abstract

Se proporciona un sello de marcar de tipo de candado que tiene un cuerpo (2) receptor con un diente (4) de fijacion interna para recibir la punta (9) de una abrazadera del sello que es integral con el cuerpo, y que tiene una etiqueta (6) de marcado también integral con el cuerpo (1). Con el fin de mejorar la aplicacion del sello, para asegruar la autopenetracion en el material que va a ser marcado (por ejemplo carne), la punta está afilada y tiene un tope (11) en la abrazadera, adyacente y detrás de la punta, de manera que se permite que un dispositivo aplicador impulsa la punta afilada que penetra el material que va a ser marcado. La abrazadera del sello tiene una region de espesor reducido que define un punto (8) de giro con respecto al cuerpo, y la parte (7) de la abrazadera entre el primer extremo y la punta aiflada está susltancialmentel enf orma de un arco de círculo. Una cavidad (3) de recepcion en el cuerpo de sello tiene un eje sustancialmente tangencial al arco cuando la abrazadera se hace girar alrededor del punto de giro, hasta que la putna comienza a entrada a la cavidad. El aplicador de acuerdo con la invneicon está enf orma d euna pistola y está adaptado para recibir un peine de sellos. El aplicador es operado neumáticamente para: aplicar sellos sin que el elemento (39) aplicador tenga que penetrar al material que va a ser marcado; suministrar el siguiente sello a la estacion (25) de recepcion y aplicacion; y cortar las uniones (12) con el siguiente sello anted de sua plicacion. La pistola es activada por un gatillo y la secuencia de operacion es controlada y llevada a cabo por una unidad (15) de control remoto que ocmprende círculos (44) de control electronico y válvulas (16) neumáticas.
