Abstract
Se describe un ensamble de cierre estéril para un recipiente o un frasco. El ensamble de cierre estéril incluye un cierre elastomérico para sellar la parte superior abierta de un recipiente de medicamento. El cierre elastomérico destaca un tapon para sellar la parte superior abierta del recipiente y una superficie superior de espaldas a la parte superior abierta del recipiente. Una arandela está asegurada en contacto superficial con la superficie superior del cierre. La arandela define una abertura que delimita un área de acceso en la superficie superior del cierre para tener acceso mediante un dispositivo de entrega de fluido tal como una jeringa. Una membrana está asegurada removiblemente sobre la arandela y encierra herméticamente el área de acceso del cierre elastomérico. El ensamble de cierre estéril puede ser suministrado preensamblado en un estado estéril para asegurar la esterilidad de la superficie superior del cierre, obviando la necesidad de esterilizar la superficie superior del cierre, tal como con una solucion de alcohol, antes de usar el frasco.
