Abstract

Una substancia seleccionada a partir del grupo de compuestos B12O3, PbO2, SnO2, CO3O4, CoO, Bi2O33ZrO3 y K2Cr2O7 se agrega al cátodo de celdas alcalinas convencionales que tienen tipicamente un ánodo que comprende Zinc y el cátodo que comprende dioxido de manganeso y un electrolito alcalino. El aditivo incrementa la capacidad especifica (amp-hr/g) del dioxido de manganeso en el cátodo.
