Abstract

La presente invencion presenta un recipiente de combustible consistente de material sintético termoplástico, que está destinado a instalarse en un vehículo de motor, con un soporte que encierra rodeándola a una abertura en la pared del recipiente, el cual esta cerrado por una tapa de retencion con la colocacion intermedia de un anillo de hermetizacion. La union entre el soporte y la tapa de retencion se ocasiona por un medio de fijacion, el cual forza la tapa de retencion en direccion del soporte. Aquí está dispuesto el anillo de hermetizacion en una ranura en el soporte o en la tapa de retencion. La seccion transversal de ranura y del anillo de hermetizacion se selecciona de tal manera que la tapa de retencion en su posicion de funcionamiento, cerrando la abertura en la superficie frontal del soporte, sea soportada directamente por éste. De esta manera se evita que el anillo de hermetizacion sea parte constructiva portadora de la union ente el soporte y la tapa de retencion.
