Abstract

Un inductor autorregulador para prender una lámpara fluorescente con filamentos que requieren de precalentamiento. El conjunto de circuitos de control dentro del inductor autorregulador retarda un encendedor que se prende hasta que los filamentos sean calentados suficientemente. El conjunto de circuitos está aislado y por lo tanto protegido de los impulsos de alto voltaje del encendedor por medio de un acoplador opcional. Un SIDAC empleado en la generacion de impulsos de alto voltaje no es confiable para percibir la descarga completa de arco de la lámpara. El voltaje disruptivo del SIDAC puede, por lo tanto, ser ajustado menor al nivel convencional que resulta en la generacion de más impulsos de alto voltaje sobre un período preajustado de tiempo.
