The present invention relates to absorbent articles (10) such as sanitary napkins, panty liners, and incontinence pads which are adhered to an undergarment during use. More particularly the present invention relates to articles (10) having a flexibility in a longitudinal direction which provides improved comfort to the wearer of the article.
