Abstract

Procedimiento para el recubrimiento de piezas moldeadas de policarbonato, caracterizado porque se aplica sobre la superficie de un cuerpo moldeado constituido por un policarbonato a base de un difenol de la formula (Ia) (Ver Formula) en la que R1 y R2, independientemente entre sí, significan hidrogeno, halogeno, preferentemente cloro o bromo, alquilo con 1 a 8 átomos de carbono, cicloalquilo con 5 a 6 átomos de carbono, arilo con 6 a 10 átomos de carbono, preferentemente fenilo, y aralquilo con 7 a 12 átomos de carbono, preferentemente fenil-alquilo con 1 a 4 átomos de carbono, especialmente bencilo. m significa 4 o 5, R3 y R4 pueden elegirse individualmente para cada X, y significan, independientemente entre sí, hidrogeno o alquilo con 1 a 6 átomos de carbono y X significa carbono, con la condicion de que al menos en un átomo X, R3 y R4 signifiquen simultáneamente alquilo, una masa (b) con un espesor de 2 a 200 æm, que ha sido obtenida mediante policondensacion hidrolítica de un compuesto del aluminio de un silano organofuncional y de un oxido componente, y la masa se endurece a una temperatura de 135 hasta 180 degree C, así como los cuerpos moldeados de policarbonato acabados de manera resistente a los arañazos obtenidos de este modo.
