Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un sistema distribuidor para dirigir de manera uniforme vapor y líquido a través de la superficie de un lecho de solidos fijo en un reactor de flujo descendente que comprende un plato distribuidor, y una pluralidad de tuberías descendentes de extremo abierto que se extienden a través de el plato. Un primer conjunto de tuberías descendentes tienen una pluralidad de elevaciones de orificios verticalmente espaciados sobre el nivel del plato. Un segundo conjunto de tuberías descendentes tienen al menos una elevacion de orificios substancialmente a la misma altura sobre el nivel del plato que una de las elevaciones superiores de orificios en el primer conjunto de las tuberías descendentes. El segundo conjunto no tiene elevacion de orificios que correspondan a la elevacion más inferior de orificios y posiblemente otras elevaciones inferiores de orificios en el primer conjunto de tuberías descendentes. La ausencia de los orificios más inferiores en el segundo conjunto de tuberías descendentes provoca que se reduzca el gasto de flujo de líquido a través del plato distribuidor a una altura de líquido determinada, cuando esa altura de líquido cae por debajo de la elevacion de los orificios segundos desde el fondo en el primer conjunto. Esto lleva al máximo la altura de líquido sobre los orificios más inferiores conservando buena distribucion, incluso cuando el distribuidor no está a nivel.
