Abstract

The present invention discloses proper preparations for disinfecting containing a iodophor consisting of: a) 20 to 71 percent by weight of polyvinylpirrolidone, poly-N-vinylcaprolactam or mixtures thereof; b) from 20 to 71 percent by weight of dextrin with a dextrose equivalent value of 2 to 40, c) from 6 to 25 percent by weight of elemental iodine, and d) from 3 to 12.5 percent by weight of iodide ions.
